Bootleggers Is Changing TheWridgeHatesRR

Presents are fluttering through the air and happy looking people are grabbing the ones with their names on it. Confused I turn my face towards the sky. “Where are these presents coming from?” I ask myself.

Cautiously I open the little box with my name written on it and unfold the little letter inside. Fantastic! It’s the money received for participating in someone’s bust party, organised to see how one of Sky’s latest updates works; a new option in the Game Forum which allows you to do a bust competition, without having to keep the scores. Each time the creator of the competition has been busted out of jail, the person who did so gets added in the topic. When this person was already participating, his total will increase. Make sure to get the most busts, and you will receive the money donated by the organizer and players to the pot’s account number. Unfortunately it is not possible to donate points this way; this still has to be done by escrow.

This gift was right on time, seeing I was just looking for an OC, but had no money. Just as I was going to edit my topic in which I was looking for someone to lead, my fingers slipped and landed on ‘lock’. “Not again!” I shout out of frustration, but soon after something else caught my attention. Could it be? No way! Or could it? I start reading what the mysterious pop up had to tell me. Hell yeah! My topic had been saved.

I became a witness of another one of Sky’s updates. This time a prevention for ‘unexpected’ topic-locking, which will save me a lot of keyboard-smashing and mouse-throwing for sure. Just like this one, most of Sky’s updates are meant to make the game more pleasant to play. Mainly by reducing the time that is being spent to useless things in the game, such as showing the cheapest cars first on the ‘Store’ page and adding several options to someone’s profile. On top of that also some bugs have been fixed, including several concerning the roulette feature.

Although our green friend has not been helping with the coding of Bootleggers for a long time, good improvements have already been made. Pleased to see Bootleggers changing and looking forward to the changes yet to come, I have asked Sky which update he is looking forward to the most. His answer was firm; “I'm looking to reward users for being in a crew.” Even though he is convinced that BSF2000 will approve the updates, he refused to say any more until he has been given the green light. While sitting in jail (damn cops caught me again), I was wondering what new features would be given to a crew. Suddenly a ticking clock caught my attention. Only time can answer this question.

The past few days an impressive amount of updates have been made. Some small, some a little bigger. But all of them have been developed nicely. I am sure that I’m not just speaking for myself when I say: “Thank you Sky, and keep up the good work!”
