Everyone on this site will at one point or another gain a rank. From the most active crew member doing two OC's per day to the lowliest Mouse whose only busting people out of jail and doing nothing else. But something has changed to reward everyone on the site!
Suddenly the green man Sky has given us all a new update, a series of random gifts every time you rank up! But how does it work? There are many variables for those of you hoping to receive the best gift at every level!
The first thing we can tell you is that the gift is based upon what rank you achieve. If you rank up to Peewee the gift will be much worse then if you reach the rank of Don. Lots of questions have been asked about this including: "If I skip a rank do I receive two rewards?" The answer is no. "If I am boosted do I receive multiple rewards?" Again, no.
So what do these gifts contain? Well so far we have seen a variety of things. From a series of bullets (100 bullets for Gangster) to a cartel of Booze (18 crates of wine at Boss) there are many options for what you can receive. Someare useful, some seem pointless, but all are better then nothing!
It's also possible to simply receive a static gift of cash! Whilst not as fun it is clear that the cash is much more useful. However this didn't stop a series of complaints! One user actually asked "What is the point of 25k for ranking up?" After a few people had face desked, Mika posted a very good reply, "I would disagree. $25,000 is enough to start an OC, which in turn will get you a profit so it could very well get you started into the game. We are not giving rewards to make life very easy for you. If you want that to happen you will need dedication to playing, doing OCs every day, banking your money, etc. We just hand you tools that make it a little easier (or exciting) to do that."
A fantastic answer to all those negative users who like to complain and moan every time they receive something for free. But what else is there you can gain as a prize? Lottery tickets have been seen as well as free chips to gamble in the Roulette tables. Are there any other prizes? The only way to find out is to continue what you are already doing, rank and have fun!
