Since the beginning of this round we have noticed bullet factories changing hands constantly but usually for a brief period as many crews have fought back to grab control of their bullet factories. Every now and then, a crew will emerge and in a bid to become a dominant crew, will seek to do battle for a bullet factory. Other times, a crew will be wiped by another crew and their bullet factories will be up for grabs but in most cases, the powerful, long standing crews will quickly reclaim those bullet factories with swift action. Last week we witnessed the wipe of Event Horizon from the stats by the infamous underground crew, The Family. Throughout this round both crews did battle on many occasions with the same usual outcome. The Family would shoot Event Horizon off the stats and with that picking up their bullet factories before eventually selling them or being shot whilst holding them. Event Horizon would then reclaim their bullet factories before then returning back on to the stats and The Family would disappear back underground.
This week, we at the Buzz noticed something out of the ordinary. Triumvirate and J.A.I.L. were holding both Illinois and Pennsylvania bullet factories that are property of Event Horizon. Usually after a crew is wiped, one or two members from that crew will emerge and hold their own bullet factories within a crew for protection or another crew will hold it for them whilst they recover but in any case, that crew will clearly state that they are holding those bullet factories for another crew. However this wasn’t happening with regards to Illinois and Pennsylvania bullet factories so we at the Buzz decided to dig deep into this matter. First stop in our investigation was Alastair, boss of J.A.I.L.
The Buzz asked Alastair if J.A.I.L. was claiming ownership of Pennsylvania bullet factory or if they were just holding it for Event Horizon. He replied: ‘Yes, we have claimed ownership of the Pennsylvania Bullet factory after buying it from the holder at that very moment’. After confirming our suspicions the next thing was to ask Alastair how much J.A.I.L. had purchased the bullet factory for and if he thought it was a fair price. He abruptly stated: ‘You may ask but we've decided to not disclose the price, so I’m sorry. If it wasn’t a fair price we would have never decided to buy it’. Well it seems J.A.I.L. are taking a step forward. Next we wanted to know if they were worried about any repercussion from the purchase of this bullet factory. He replied: ‘I'd say so, I have got various people bm'ing me and threatening JAIL to give the BF 'back'. We are ready for it, and like to bring ourselves into the action. We are taking a step forward, but we will never abandon our first and foremost task in this game. Keeping the community out of chains and entertain them with various bust competitions. With this BF (abbreviation of bullet factory) in our hands, we have the ability to raise the prizes of those competitions even more. We like to believe the whole community can profit from us holding one!’ It seems like everybody wins now that J.A.I.L. is holding this bullet factory. We then probed deeper to learn more of J.A.I.L. and any future plans they might have to which Alastair responded: ‘JAIL, (Just Intelligence, Agility and Luck) is a crew that was formed by busting brothers. We've got to know each other through busting. Busting is an important social part of the game but there never was a specific crew where people can unite and have fun with each other. That is when we figured out: Lets start one. Our purpose as a crew is merely busting, and having fun. As a crew we try to entertain the community with bust competitions in lots of different ways. Also in the crew itself, not a day goes by without having small or bigger bust competitions.
As to our future plans, we want to keep up being a busting crew. We want to invent different ways of busting competitions, with bigger prizes. Eventually we'd love to expand the crew and make it 100 members. In general we strive to be remembered as the best busting crew BL has known’. Well J.A.I.L. has certainly have been making an impact with Bust competitions. We at the Buzz thanked Alastair for his time and wished J.A.I.L. all the bust of luck.
So its been confirmed now that J.A.I.L. are claiming Pennsylvania bullet factory so all that’s left to find out about is the situation regarding Illinois bullet factory. So on our pursuit to find out more we approached Girlscout97, a member of Triumvirate holding Illinois bullet factory. Once again we asked whether they were claiming the bullet factory or just holding it for Event Horizon.
Girlscout97 stated that Triumvirate were claiming Illinois bullet factory before then alerting us to a conversation between Triumvir, boss of Triumvirate (great imagination with the crew name), themselves and BettyBNaughty aka Betty, boss of Event Horizon. The dialogue between the trio clearly didn’t go well with Betty making several threats stating that if the bullet factory wasn’t returned to Event Horizon then their accounts would be shot and crew wiped because Betty would not refund them for their mistake in buying a bullet factory that was shot for. Girlscout97 was however adamant they paid one thousand points for it and also had this to say: ‘This guy "Diabolus" from TF was selling it in the classifieds, and said that EH will never hold a bf again. I had some spare change and was thinking why not give it a go. Several people from EH have claimed it to be theirs, and a lot of people regards us as dead already. The conditions of the purchase was that along EH doesn’t have anything to do with the BF, TF will not shoot us. We think this is a better deal than being afraid of both. As you see, we tried to sell back the BF for the amount we bought it for. Betty laughed at it. Which I guess is understandable, as she thinks she is the queen of Bootleggers. Seeing as EH seems to have enough problems as is (TF), I don’t understand why they would want to use resources on holding a BF? I mean, they can’t even hold a crew spot? Anyways. We have decided to put up a fight, we don’t want to be bullied like so many before’.
Well it seems that both J.A.I.L and Triumvirate are claiming Pennsylvania and Illinois bullet factories respectively, so we at the Buzz decided to find out what Event Horizon had to say about this. For this we approached Betty who replied: ‘Well, as you noticed TF shot EH. They (TF) then had control of the BFs and 'sold' the BFs to people who would lick their arse (in other words ppl who won't shoot TF). They are licking TF arse hoping not to get shot. The BFs aren't theirs, they know that, and they know they will pay for not returning them peacefully’. Strong words from Betty and it seems Event Horizon aren't down and out.
To get more of an understanding with of this situation, we at the Buzz decided to interview Diabolus, the member of The Family who had sold the bullet factories. Firstly we had asked Diabolus if Plusminus (the person who had shot Event Horizon along with various other accounts) was actually a member of The Family. As many of you will know, Plusminus initially shot at many accounts trying to hit The Family before it later then became apparent that wasn’t his true goal. Diabolus then confirmed to us that Plusminus was indeed a member of The Family. Not shocked from this response we posed a second question to The Family. If the two crews they have sold the bullet factories to don't give them back to Event Horizon, will The Family protect them and help them to keep their newly acquired bullet factories or are they on their own to which Diabolus stated: ‘If you regard shooting EH as "protecting them". If we acquire the same BF's we already sold, and the previous owners are still interested, an arrangement will probably be made. If not, other crews are free to buy any property we obtain’. That seems to indicate that the bullet factories could be resold to the current owners should The Family reacquire them but only time will tell. We then posed one last question to Diabolus about The Family’s future goals and his name and status within the crew to which he referred me to an interview conducted by our very own iAldo with Pannu in issue 35 (where we learnt that The Family have no leader but an inner core group which make the decisions. He then went on to say: ‘I am nothing but a pawn. The ones online on my chat client tells me what to write’. Well it seems The Family’s secrecy goes beyond the limit to an extent where even speech is controlled. We thanked Diabolus for his time (and the funny video he sent us) before wishing The Family all the best of luck.
In conclusion, the Buzz believes that this war over Illinois and Pennsylvania bullet factory is far from over. Will Event Horizon rise back and reclaim those bullet factories or will J.A.I.L. and Triumvirate withstand any attack? Will Event Horizon have the resources to wipe both J.A.I.L. and Triumvirate? Will The Family attack Event Horizon should they resurface? All the parties in question believe they have resources to carry on their current path and we at the Buzz can’t wait to see how this story unfolds. Nothing is for certain but we at the Buzz can assure you we will be at the for front in bringing you the latest as this story unfolds.
