With this years Christmas in sight i’m sitting here infront of the fireplace with my laptop at my disposal. This round so far has been hilarious aswel as pathetic. Modesty a dying understanding in Bootleggers.
Rarely do we see any humble and modest players. The kind that can do it all but always stays modest about his accomplishments. When you have to use strong words and tell others what you are capable of and will do, you’re really not that tough. That reminds me of what my father always told me “when no one tickles you, then you will have to tickle yourself”. Something that would describe this situation best. I’ve looked through previous editions of the buzz and it was hilarious. The amount of players that made themselves guilty of the thing I just mentioned is a number that goes beyond your imagination. Some of them even went to a all time low. Biggest and best example would be the amazing and hilarious Norwegian folks from The Family. Rarely have I seen duo’s unwillingly and without purpose making themselves look that ridiculous. Threats rolling out of their mouth, or better said rattled out of their keyboards as if there is no tomorrow.
Barely able to hold a normal conversation without wishing death upon one or flaunting their welfare. Are they going to set a new definition for all time low?
I frequently try and visualize this happening, when buzzwriters ask their opinions and strong and powerful words fill the buzz articles, how the people will respond when reading it and the look on the faces off the enemy were their words are aimed at. Unimaginably, this phenomenon is jaw dropping. Not from fear but from pure laugher. Perhaps normal guys in their twenty’s, who’s mom still tidy’s their room, they go to school or work, maybe even mocked upon, their minds constantly busy with the heavy task of seeking strong words, putting them together, fear, fear, fear, anger, anger, anger. This weekend, all alone just my keyboard and me and we will strike fear. For months have they spent their weekends collecting bullets its time to cast fear. Saved notepads will be dusted off and the strongest and hardest words will be put under copy & paste. The muscles in their hands will be stretched and warmed up. Mom will make them a warm cup of chocolate milk, curtains will be closed and the clicking and rattling can begin.
First we shoot then we brag. They are going to finish off an old enemy. Perhaps the one that laughed the hardest. Modesty will bite the dust. Modesty will be blown to shreds. They’re not saving modesty, virtual bullets penetrating everywhere and when they’re done, all there’s left to do is copy and paste.
