This is going to take you back, for people that were around this is meant as a reminder. For people that weren’t this is meant to be informative.
Getting your ability to view other people’s profiles limited by a Captcha might seem odd to a lot of people. But this writer is going to assure you it’s necessary, because you’ve all been cheated on. In previous rounds a certain moderator gave his title, name and rank to get this sad truth out to the people. He was excommunicated, branded a traitor and every mention to what he had to say deleted. But he knew, he knew people were using programs, scripts and whatnot to log every person’s wealth status, crew affiliation, etc. They were using it to identify people holding money for crews as well as groups of friends. The admin at the time thought it would be wise to introduce a “billionaire” rank in the middle of all this turmoil. Once every single person with a billionaire rank was killed and the idea was proven to be idiotic. This loving writer had said so from the beginning, though. The billionaire rank was removed. But little did the public know that a certain Bootlegger help site still provided the billionaire wealth status rank information to people that had been invited to join the website. This meant that people that were invited to the site had a ridiculous advantage over normal players. Luckily the admin behind this façade got fired. He was offered a chance to pretend he got a government job, but that turned out to be a lie too. Was that the end to all major scripted cheating?
After all of this one would think the scripting etc would have come to an end. But it didn’t. It apparently continued until Sky finally implanted the Captchas on visiting profiles. The only question you should ask yourself is, how badly were these captchas on profiles needed? How long have cheaters been able to exploit normal people their profiles? How long has the current staff been covering up this form of cheating? Everyone realizes that telling the general public about all the scripting and cheating would deter normal people from playing and spending money on points. But the people that are really investing their honest time and money on this game are the actual victims of this con.
Yes, Sky has done something about it. No, a massive failure on the staff’s side has never been admitted or apologized for. The next time you read an apology about things not getting done in a timely fashion, remember what they really should be apologizing for.
