Vindicta is a crew which has existed for multiple months. They have survived a full crew wipe and various other attacks. They may not have made a huge impact in the game as whole but they have certainly left their mark on a number of the community in general. However, the sad news came through this week that they have dissolved and begun the terrible process of advertising in the Classifieds.
So what happened to bring about this terrible conclusion? We at the Buzz approached the Underboss of Vindicta, PussInBoots to find out all the information straight from the horse’s mouth. He told us that “one and a half months ago Vin left because he was a bit busy in real life. He is the original boss of the crew and he said he would return in about a week. But he is still busy and we don't know when he will come back. As well we lost a few of our good members and council members who left because they were either being too inactive or were going to retire. Worse still a few more left because of some inside trouble.”
Quite serious! We asked for more information into the decision behind the sale rather than voting for new leadership to which we were told “with all that going on I noticed our crew became more and more inactive, this due the fact that most of us have been around since the end of round 6 or beginning of round 7. That's a pretty long time in my opinion. So all those reasons together made the rest of the council members, Saphira, Westfalia and Myself wonder what we should do and we all decided to sell the crew.”
Nice and simple decision on the surface! But we probed a bit deeper. We wanted to find out what Vin the boss will think when he comes back, “Vin has spoken to one of the council members a few weeks back and he said he was very busy still. But he didn't tell us why. He can't blame us for this decision and he will understand due the fact he wasn't around for a few months.” We then turned to their plans with whatever money they can gain from the sale, “the fact is that no one is interesting in buying the crew, so with small amount of points it possibly may bring we haven’t got no plans.”
We then turned to the plans of him, his crew members and other council members. He told us “It's not clear yet what I am going to do, As for the other council members they are visiting some crews now. Some of our members are already in other crews.” We can clearly see that his crew is now empty and he is the only member. So it seems that everyone has left and the crew for sale is an empty crew. The final question we had for him was to ask about his UG shooters and what would happen to them now. His reply was very simple, “they were not ready to shoot yet. I haven't decided yet what they are going to do now.”
Next we turned to one of the founders of Vindicta, our own Buzz writer LemonCakes also known as Stow_General. We asked him who he was with regards to Vindicta and he told us, “Well I was one of the founders. There was a few of us and we all decided on several things such as who was to be boss. My position in the crew was, however, unclear and the only guy that could verify that is no longer playing. This was one of the reasons I left.”
So a former founder left before the sale. The information we have found out so far seems like there may be more then at first appears! We asked him what he knew about Vin the boss. He told us, “Last I spoke with him he had some real life issues to deal with and we decided it would be unfair to recall upon him.” We then asked him about his opinion of the crew being sold, “Well as much as I love the crew and the members, I'm not surprised that this happened. The crew was not being run correctly ever since Vin disappeared. Important members activity were dropping heavily so it was all a matter of time before this happened
We asked him why he left Vindicta and joined his new crew, Axteze, to which he told us, “Well I knew what my rank in the crew was and so did Vin. Without Vin present we had a disagreement about this and I decided to leave. Aldo is a friend of mine who let me in and I haven't looked back. They have treated me well.” He went on to say “I'm very happy here however that being said I hope to reunite the team in the future with an exception. One member who I thought was a friend but clearly wasn't.”
There is certainly some juicy information. We probed for more about what happened, specifically in regards to PussInBoots and he told us, “He has caused the downfall of the crew in my opinion. I might no longer like him but he was a friend at one point so I still respect him. When Vin disappeared, things changed. I was treated like an outcast. Like any other crew member. I was no longer valued and when I asked what was going on, he made it clear to me I wasn't in in charge and Vin decides the hierarchy. Well I knew Vin longer than anyone here and he has no right to tell me what Vin would have wanted.”
Finally we asked Stow if he had any further comments he would like to say. He told us, “Me and another crew founder left the crew for the exact same reason. We know who is behind the downfall of the crew and I would like to say 'Koen, you changed bro and you destroyed Vindicta'. We will be back in the future. I will make sure of this.”
So there we have it! With the loss of the crew Boss, Vin, communication and structure fell apart within the crew. Some disagreements occurred and ultimately the crew has disbanded and is in the process of being sold. Who was right and who was wrong here? Please give us your opinion!
