This Sunday, one week after the Buzz awards, you can read responds of the winners and runner-up’s. The last weeks you could vote for your favorite players. Two weeks ago everyone started voting on their ‘all-year’ favorites. The results were great, the 14 awards were all won by great players.
The real big winners this year are: Aldo, Dtox and Sky. Dtox won the prize ‘Most Prolific Troll’ and ‘Biggest Forum Whore’. Aldo could raise the cup for ‘Most Helpful Player’ and ‘Best Buzz Writer’. This week Aldo resigned as a Buzz Writer, but he can still enjoy his prize as the one and only Best Buzz Writer. Because of this, we started our interview madness with Aldo. We asked him why he thinks he won the ‘Most helpful player’ of Bootleggers award. He answered us that he was honestly shocked about the fact that he was nominated for the award. He told us that he wants to be as polite as possible and if someone asks him a question he always does his best to answer the question. If someone asks him for money he answers them that he won’t give them money, but he does tell them how to make their own money. Aldo also won another prize, and that prize was for being the 'Best Buzz Writer'. He told us that he was really happy with the prize and that Bootleggers liked his way of writing. This was Aldo's his debut in the Buzz Awards, so that makes him a big winner. There is only question left; does Aldo still deserve the prize of being the 'Best Buzz Writer'? That’s because Aldo resigned this week as writer of the Bootleggers Buzz. We'd say yes, he has delivered a great job this year for the Bootleggers Buzz. Good job lad!
The award for nicest crew went to J.A.I.L.. They told us that they are very excited and proud of receiving the award. They see it as appreciation of their effort in the bust competitions they are organizing. One of their main goals is to serve the community of Bootleggers, and this award shows them that they’re doing a very good job. We asked them what made them different from the different crews. ThanksForTheBust, the recruiter of J.A.I.L. told us that their main goal is to bust people out. Being powerful or large is not their goal or main concern. He told us that their crew forum is extremely active, which has to set them apart from the other crews too.
The next stop was the one and only Dtox. We asked him if he was proud of his award of ‘Forum whore’ and ‘Most Prolific Troll’ and his answer was a fancy short ''No''. He finds it pretty amazing that he won the awards. He told us that the previous award he won two years ago he had put up only to rub someone’s nose in with it. So, conclusion, he is not really proud of it. Nevertheless, the awards that he'd won are amusing him. We also asked him if he is going to win the awards next year too. He doesn’t know, because he should be qualified-grown-up by then. That means no time for nonsense anymore. We’ll see if that happens!
Up next we went to Rakdos, the winner of the award 'The nicest player'. His current name is now Voluns4, because he got shot. We asked him how it felt to win such award. He answered that it’s feeling great to be the nicest player. He also told us that he found it great that we noticed him. He is always trying to help people on their way and give people advice on their dusty way. He also told us that he is always friendly and that he is never trolling people. Then we asked him if he expected the award or the nomination. He said that he didn’t expect to win the award, because someone of his crew was also nominated for the same award (Princess). He added that he expected her to win, but that’s not how it ended! As last question for Rakdos we asked if he’d vote for his self. He didn’t and told us that he voted for Princess.
Finally, we had a small interview with a female; Betty! She won the award for the ‘Most Known Player’. We asked her if she exptected to win this award. She told us that the crew Event Horizon is around for quite a time already and that her name is associated with Event Horizon. She also told us that BettyB is an easy name to remember, which is completely true! We also asked if she has won such award before, but she wasn’t really sure.
Last but not least we interviewed ShyGuy; the best Help Desk Operator of 2012. We asked him if he was proud of his prize. He really is and he'd like to thank everybody who voted for him as best Help Desk Operator. When he accepted this job a few months ago he never expected to win this prize. We also asked him how you could become the best Help Desk Operator. He told us that all Help Desk Operators are doing a good job, so technically there isn't a best one.
