Last week we witnessed the insiding of The Lions by none other than Event Horizon through the help of a mysterious shooter before they themselves were the victims of another. This wasn’t the first insiding of a crew we have seen this round as that award goes to Spencer (a well known member of the infamous crew, The Family) at the expense of The Clenched Fist, but was this done entirely by Event Horizon or was another party involved? We at the Buzz decided to investigate this matter. Our first stop was Homiie, a member of Event Horizon who was believed to be the culprit behind the inside job. We approached him and asked if he did indeed play a part in this to which he responded: ‘EH is responsible for the inside. I was only their inside man. It all started when a new crew whose boss is apparently no genius started claiming our BF for their own. I honestly liked the members they are all friendly and nice but they made a big mistake by crossing EH’s path and underestimating EH. If anyone should be blamed for this inside its Bladi who let a loyal member of EH join after a week from them claiming our BF. Not smart at all. I had no intentions of requesting a kill and starting all over again with a new name and applying to TL so only by words I said that I left EH and apparently it was a convincing argument. I gave it a shot and they bought it.’ Homiie went on to confirm that Rainbow was the shooter but what relationship did the shooter have with Event Horizon? Were they a member or just a hired gun?
The Buzz decided to contact BettyBReady aka Betty, boss of Event Horizon, to get a better insight into this matter. Betty said: ‘I will be completely honest, I don't know who the shooter was. EH didn't shoot, we didn't fund the shooter. The crew was an early Christmas gift in a way. Someone said that The Lions were to be shot, I told them I had a guy inside and please don't shoot him, that got passed along. The good friends they are they didn't shoot him and thus we have a spot.’ So it seems Event Horizon didn’t shoot but rather acquired that crew spot with a bit of help from mysterious friends. The Buzz wanted to know more about this ‘gift’. Betty went on to say; ‘Other than friendship I don't know the reason for the gift. To the people responsible, my heart felt thank you for not shooting Homiie, EH is extremely grateful. If there is anything we can do to assist you in the future, to return the gift, we will do our best.’ A random gift it may seem. We remembered from a previous interview that Betty stated Event Horizon would be fighting an underground war. We probed deeper into this to find out if Event Horizon had changed their view on this and if they had many underground shooters left? Betty replied: ‘Half of the crew (or maybe more) is currently UG, we have plans, we have shooters. We really don't want to shoot random accounts though, unlike others in the game, so it's tough to know what to do with TF constantly hiding. Those of us not UG will die regardless if we are in a spot or not so we may as well have some fun.’ Fighting an underground war against The Family surely isn’t easy but what did Event Horizon make of The Lions? Will they be expecting retaliation and if so will they be ready for it? Betty went on to say that The Lions were a puppet crew for The Family and any retaliation would come from The Family themselves.
An inside job well executed but what did The Lions have to say about this? We at the Buzz spoke to Bladiii to find out more on this and who they believed was to blame for this? Bladiii abruptly stated: ‘I can not say that it is someone else's fault other than my own, I knew that two of them were from EH and one suspicious that were not killed during the wipe. I would not call it a mistake, but more as a test to see how dirty the game takes place. Rainbow was the shooters and EH behind it. I received Information over 1 week ago that they would wipe us, both my members and I were prepared for it. But we have enough resources to come back and participate in the war.’ Well prepared for a war? Exactly what we at the Buzz like to hear. Since Event Horizon and The Lions are now both no longer on the stats, we asked Bladiii what he thought about this. Are they still claiming Illinois bullet factory and is Vatos Locos holding it for them while they regroup? He replied: ‘What I can promise is that the TL will be on the stats again. Yes, the Illinois is now the property of the crew, any crew trying to hold on to it will have a full crew wipe. Trust me we are prepared to die. Resources are there. To be honest, between you and me, I like to see the humor in dying/killing.’ Strong words from Bladiii and it seems that Vato Locas are now claiming Illinois bullet factory.
A lot of drama on a Sunday morning as is the case on most occasions but it wouldn’t truly be a Sunday without some more action and we weren’t disappointed when Event Horizon were the victims this time by a mysterious shooter too in the form of Primeval. They had this to say: ‘The shooting of EH was done by me. No one else was involved. I don't belong to any crews. I shot them cus they shot a friend of mine that all. Just so you get it right in the buzz mate.’ People shooting others for a friend, this sounds very familiar. They went on to say: ’They shot Skeggi (SkeggiThePinik at the time) and he is an old friend of mine. I used 250k bullets and a BAR. I have no ties to any crews at all. I would have shot them earlier but they kept adding people to the crew lol’. A lone wolf it seems but could they have been hired to do so? This was however abruptly denied before adding that with all the killings that had happened within the past few days, they didn't want to die with that amount of bullets on hand. We probed a bit deeper into this player’s past and realised that they had in fact taken part in a mass shooting before in the form of bluebeardeddragon. That time, the victims were Boston Mob (many of the members now a part of Axteze) but wasn’t this shooter a part of a crew at the time? They stated: ‘Yes I was back then but we disbanded after being shot and decided to go our own ways. I was part of The Enterprise back then.’
In conclusion, we at the Buzz think this matter is far from over. The Lions will be looking to reappear on the stats in due time and that they will be seeking to reclaim Illinois bullet factory. Event Horizon will not take too kindly to Illinois bullet factory’s owners constantly changing hands and will have plans of their own. Any crews recruiting members in the future surely can take a lesson from this and most importantly, so will The Lions. Will The Lions reappear on the stats or has this ordeal been too much for them? Will we see more crews insided or is this a one off case and a thing of the past reserved only for the not so clever side of the Bootleggers community? As always, we at the Buzz will have any future developments for you here every Sunday.
