Detecting Underground Accounts Voluns4

These days we at the Buzz have noticed that there are as many underground players in the community of Bootleggers, as there are players in a crew on the statistics page, if not more! It's a regular occurrence for a mass shooting of crewless accounts in order to hunt out underground accounts. Usually these shootings are very successful. So how do the killers choose their targets?

Curious about this question we asked some general questions on the Game Forum to discover how the community detects the large number of hidden shooters and bankers. More often then not these people are on at least one watch list. We discovered many common aspects between all of the underground accounts thanks to the aid of several users. The first thing to check is the number of messages sent.

An account which has sent very few messages seems to have something to hide. A message or two to join an OC is all an account needs if they are planning a solo mission. A few messages with their crew boss isn't enough to greatly increase any players bm count. There is also a lot of suspicion that many UG shooters may have external forums to discuss attacks. GrecoI wrote "and u can spot from the total messages sent , shooters won't send a lot of messages , only for the cash supplier if there is one , or crew boss to update their bullets amount or to make plans or to do oc's so it will be low."

The next topic under discussion was the contents of profiles. The term "noob profile" was used and we were given several definitions, "it contains his OC payouts, his ranks up, casino wins with no screen shot and a paint picture or natural picture like a chimpanzee" was GrecoIs comments. In contrast, TerraSotto said, "you might think "no quote" profiles, but those are mostly people who just don't feel like making a profile. They mostly have only 1 picture in the quote part, and something in writing names, sayings etc. But I've seen shooters who have really fancy widescreens, so it depends. you can never say I guess." Interesting comment. It is very hard to tell.

We did receive a message to give tips on how to remain underground without arousing suspicion. We were told, "I have been UG shooter a long time ago, what I used to do is "hide in plain sight". So I wouldn't play any different from normal players, just wouldn't be in a crew. And not have friends that really know you as that may betray you. But it's best to play normal so people don't get suspicious, besides, you can still have the fun BL has to offer." This was a comment from an anonymous player.

Next we come to an interesting question, is it easier to find an underground shooter or an underground banker? Our newest Buzz writer, Curse gave us a detailed answer to spot the difference between the two, "It depends on who you're looking for. If you're looking for a fairly rich bunch of UG shooters, then expect them to be online often. Cross reference their online time with the amount of bullets being bought, then you might have yourself a smaller set of suspects.

The ones harder to find are the ones who are too rich and rely on bullets not bought from bullet factories, but transfered from points. Those shooters do not need to remain online for long periods nor mind interacting with the community as there is not much to lose on their accounts other than their rank and gun, while the other kind have the bullets value at an increasing risk every day."

Finally we looked at the current crews and, as many of you know, agreed that they must all have an underground player in order to keep up with so many hidden shooters. If your crew starts being shot then you need a hidden account to find the killer, search them and shoot in order to remind everyone your a strong crew and to exact revenge. But these accounts have a big advantage since they can apply to a crew and be given a series of bullets rather the having to stock everything manually. But do these accounts truly differ? They tend to look the same as crewless underground members and they seem to hide well.

So there we have it. These are not hard and fast rules to determine if an account is an underground banker or shooter but these are a good set of guide lines to help all members of the community spot them. They are also tips which may help each player survive just that little bit longer!
