On Monday evening, we witnessed our first piece of action this week and what a jam-packed week it has been. This all started with the shooting of Gangsters Sanctuary’s (a crew no longer on the stats page) bullet factory owners, who were housed in The Priory at the time (their members are pretty much one of the same). We at the Buzz scrambled around to find out who was responsible for this attack. We didn’t have to look far to track down our first possible suspects. Both Michigan and New Jersey bullet factories (ones that have been held and claimed by Gangsters Sanctuary for quite a long time) were in the possession of Decadence. Naturally we approached Decadence and spoke with AtheistV3, one of the bosses of Decadence who unfortunately didn’t want to comment but yet had the time to tell me that he very much enjoyed my articles (always good to hear feedback, especially if it’s good) and with that we decided to move on.
It wasn’t long before Decadence were hit allowing The Priory and Gangsters Sanctuary to pick those bullet factories up but who was behind this attack? Only the bullet factory holders from Decadence were shot so could The Priory/Decadence be behind this attack? We spoke to Ghyslaynev6, one of the bosses of The Priory and asked if they were indeed behind it and if so, could this be the start of a war between these crews. He had this to say: ‘We have only shot the people who were holding the bf's and the relationship? I don't know because I haven’t received any message from them. No, there isn't a war but the bf's are property of Gangsters Sanctuary and if someone touches them, we will get them back. This confirmed our suspicions that they were behind this attack and it seems very evident that The Priory will do all they can to help Gangsters Sanctuary keep hold of these bullet factories. Ghyslaynev6 finished off with telling us the situation between Gangsters Sanctuary and Decadence (since this is all to do with Gangsters Sanctuary’s bullet factories) has been dealt with but of course, one should approach a boss of these crews to confirm this. As we have already been unsuccessful at interviewing Decadence, we decided to speak with a8k, one of the bosses of Gangsters Sanctuary to get his perspective on this but unfortunately we had no such luck.
Now it wouldn’t be a jam-packed week without more action and we wasn’t disappointed when we heard news in the wind that The Priory would be wiped very soon and disposed of their bullet factories. Now we weren’t the only ones that came across this news as The Priory had also anticipated an imminent attack and therefore decided to pass Michigan bullet factory to a friend in Axteze. That friend was Snortyballs (a former member of Gangster Sanctuary). A while later a massive argument erupted in the game forum where accusations where being thrown back and forth between Snortyballs and his former crew (he had now left Axteze) about loyalty but what was this all about? A closer look would reveal that Snortyballs was no longer in possession of Michigan bullet factory but yet he was still alive. How could this be? Did he not have enough money to keep hold of the bullet factory? We at the Buzz decided to look further into the matter. Once again we took a closer look at the Game Forum where it became clear that Distance, boss of Axteze had ordered Snortyballs to pass the bullet factory over to him (using the escrow feature) before he himself dropped possession of this bullet factory (by not holding enough cash on hand at the time of the next bullet production) to avoid dragging unnecessary trouble to his crew. We at Buzz contacted Distance for more information regarding this matter but he was unable to comment. Michigan bullet factory was later picked up by ShitneyBeHere aka Shitney, boss of The Phoenix Rebellion but why did he do so? Were they the ones that would wipe The Priory? Only time would tell but fortunately for us, we didn’t have to wait long to find out.
On the early hours of Tuesday, The Priory would face the dreaded crew wipe but who was behind this? We at the Buzz went on the hunt to find the killers and our first stop led us to Shitney. We asked Shitney if The Phoenix Rebellion were behind the wipe of The Priory and if they were now claiming Michigan bullet factory since they were in possession of it. Shitney replied: ‘Well, I'm sure you heard the bullet factory was dropped, and it wasn't because it was shot for. I happen to see it drop and decided to go for it. I think putting claims on bullet factories is silly. For the time being, the Michigan Bullet Factory is being held by TPR, and will continue to be fought for. TPR did play a part in the wipe however, not 100% responsible for it.’ So, The Phoenix Rebellion were responsible for the wipe and did not act alone but would they expect a retaliation from The Priory/Gangster Sanctuary and would they be prepared for it? Shitney went to say that he would expect nothing less from them and would be disappointed and saddened if MrLawrence, the other boss of Gangsters Sanctuary didn’t do so. Tuesday was in fact a very dark day for The Priory and Gangsters Sanctuary alike. They lost Michigan bullet factory through complications and when wiped also lost New Jersey bullet factory. That was picked up by Decadence who later passed it onto Most wanted, a crew not on the stats (currently housed in The Phoenix Rebellion but has a ongoing rivalry with The Priory). While we still had a chance to speak with Shitney, we at the Buzz posed a question about The Phoenix Rebellion’s stance in the constant feud between Most Wanted and The Priory and if they are allied with Most Wanted. Shitney stated: ‘TPR's stance is the Michigan BF. The beef between TP and MW is their business. You would have to talk with TP or MW to get an answer regarding the feud. As far as your question regarding allies, I’ll just let the Bootleggers community think what they want. They do anyways, lol. Rumors have been flying around since TPR started and you won't find me in the game forum setting them straight. I really don't care.’ So The Phoenix Rebellion are claiming Michigan bullet factory but what about New Jersey bullet factory? Will The Phoenix Rebellion retaliate if it is shot for? We posed that final question to Shitney: ‘TPR is only after the michigan bullet factory. As far as retaliations, well, shit happens. Tomorrow is a new day with new problems. The only final comment I have is: TP this was not personal. This may not matter but it's always nice to know.’ A cagey response from Shitney which leaves us in doubt as to what their actions will be should The Priory/Gangsters Sanctuary shoot to reclaim New Jersey bullet factory.
Next we decided to approach MoxMW, a member of Most Wanted and asked whether Most Wanted were behind the wipe of The Priory and if they were claiming any one of Gangsters Sanctuary’s bullet factories to which he responded: ‘It was a joint effort between TPR and Most Wanted. I'm not really into claiming things. I think they belong to whoever is holding them at the time. Right now that’s TPR, Decadence and Most Wanted.’ Seems like all three of these crews want a piece of the pie. We finished the interview with MoxMW by asking him if Most Wanted expected retaliation and if he was prepared for it. MoxMW said: ‘Most Wanted wiped The Priory a while back and they retaliated by killing us and taking the BF's back pretty swiftly. This left them in a weaker position this time obviously, so they have not been as fast to retaliate and when they have we have shot them right back. We will continue to do this. They have now apparently gone "Underground". I will know who their accounts are anyways, but no doubt a few will slip through the net and return to shoot us for the factories. The cycle goes on. I can however see them concentrating the rest of their time and resources on fighting this BF fight for which they will no doubt lose. But hey that's the fun of Bootleggers!’ We attempted to sneak another question in and ask MoxMW about any alliances with The Phoenix Rebellion and Decadence but unfortunately, he wasn’t willing to discuss that with us but did have a final comment. ‘The Syndicate does not exist’.
Just past the stroke of midnight and into the early hours of Friday, shots were heard. Decadence were being wiped and New Jersey bullet factory was now in the possession of Downtown Delegates. Could another crew be involved in this struggle for the bullet factories? A member of Most Wanted had in fact dropped the bullet factory after being shot (they were present in Decadence during the shooting). We scrounged around for any information we could collect into this matter and the person on our radar was InspectorGadget, a member of Downtown Delegates holding this bullet factory. We started by asking InspectorGadget firstly, how they came to be in possession of New Jersey bullet factory and secondly, if they were aware of who shot Decadence and finally, if they were worried about any repercussion from picking up this bullet factory. InspectorGadget replied: ‘I was gamblin' and when I wanted to buy a few bullets the BF was free to pick up, so I DID. No I don't, we have to discuss this with the crew. Can't answer that.’ So it seems Downtown Delegates aren’t behind the wipe of Decadence nor are they willing to just relinquish the possession of this bullet factory because they are still currently holding it. Might they be holding this bullet factory for others? We at the Buzz approached hovinovic, underboss of Downtown Delegates to see if he could shed some light on this. Unfortunately, we were not in luck as he said that he would discuss it with his crew.
Things certainly seems to be heating up but we still haven’t found out who exactly shot Decadence. Unsurprisingly we contacted a8k again since Gangsters Sanctuary/The Priory would be the prime suspects of this attack. This time we were in luck. We received a response at last. a8k stated: ‘Let me just make one comment then. We keep hearing from Most Wanted that we get shot for not doing anything with the BFs. That we as GS/TP are not playing the game as we are supposed to. The reason they think that is because they believe we never shoot. We are a stats crew and due to the current flawed crew- and kill system we never claim any shooting. Also we as Gangsters Sanctuary are not the bragging kind of people and in my opinion it’s not the barking dogs you have to be afraid of. Also it’s easy for Most Wanted to say that we have to play the game. As an underground crew, you can do whatever you like without any consequences. They don’t have to be afraid of retaliation after making their move. So who is playing the game as you are supposed to? I think the main reason people play like the way they do, is because of the current crew- and kill system. I think everybody is happy to be out there (organized in a crew and not UG) and to take responsibility for their actions if they have a fair chance of defending themselves. No we did not shoot Decadence. But hey, who is going to believe that after what I just wrote. Also there are rumors that we are allied to TF (an infamous underground crew known as The Family). That is not true either, as get shot by TF as well. But a lot of people are against us for that. We can't change that either.’
So there you have it. Gangsters Sanctuary/The Priory are stating that they are not responsible for the recent wipe of Decadence. They are no longer in possession of their bullet factories but for how long? They will probably be looking to reclaim them as soon as possible because being without them for too long will certainly have a negative affect on their potential income. Most Wanted and The Phoenix Rebellion will not be looking to renounce ownership of these bullet factories without a fight and Gangsters Sanctuary certainly have their work cut out for them. How far will The Priory be looking to go in helping Gangsters Sanctuary reclaim what they believe is rightfully theirs? Downtown Delegates have thrown themselves in the mix and with all this mayhem, could this be right time for them to stamp their authority in Bootleggers and make their presence known or have they bitten off more than they can chew? When will Decadence return and will their vengeful wrath be tough to handle for the culprits that committed this heinous crime? A lot of questions raised but be rest assured, we at the Buzz will bring all the latest as and when it happens, until then, happy gaming!
