My Bullet Factory! Liliana4

Through out this round we have had many crew wars over bullet factories so we at the Buzz have decided to give a summary of some of the factories and the back stories behind them.

If we start with one of the bullet factories (BF) which most often changes hands: the Illinois bullet factory. Over the past week it has passed between two crews, one being a crew which has recently gone underground called Vatos Locus and a fairly new spin off of the previous named Nothing Personal. On the profile of the member of Nothing Personal who is currently holding the factory, it has a message warning people about taking it away from their crew. However Event Horizon (EH), who have been on the stats page since very early in the round and have claimed the Illinois and the Pennsylvania bullet factory since very early in the round, have said that these were theirs and nothing would ever make them relinquish their claim. So we at the Buzz tried to speak with both Peppe, who is a council member of Event Horizon, and also the crew boss of Nothing Personal called FilibertoErnesto, however the latter was unable to speak with us. He was probably too busy fighting bare knuckled over the ownership of the factory and couldn't spare the time.

So what did Peppe have to say on the topic of the ownership of the factory? We first asked how long they had been claiming the bullet factory and Peppe replied that “Event Horizon have owned Illi BF since the start of this round.” In the first edition of the Buzz this round you will see an article written by AceAdam about Event Horizon saying that they held three bullet factories “BettyB being the first player to pick up Pennsylvania bullet factory this round. Both TFKyle and Rawhide, who are Event Horizon members, currently own New Jersey and Illinois bullet factory.”

So back to the present with Nothing Personal claiming the factory, what were the plans for the future for Event Horizon? Were they going to take control or would they finally give up their claim on their factories? Peppe said that the reason he could see that other crews were beginning to try and claim their factories was “simply because EH aren't on the stats. There are a lot of weak UG crews forming together to take advantage of this”. He went on to say that Event Horizons plans to keep control of their bullet factories, “we will continue to play them at their own game. It is very easy to hide underground, build up forces and pick off suspicious accounts. The core of EH is as strong as ever, no underground crew can break that.” So would they ever relinquish their control? He replied “absolutely not, people know it belongs to EH.” So this battle could continue for some time yet to come.

So what about the other bullet factories in the game? Almost all of them have some rivalry over the precious commodities. We spoke to several other crew bosses in the community about the factories they own and what they thought about the idea of claiming factories in general.

Firstly we spoke to the Buzz writer Eddard_Stark who is also the co-boss of The Priory. Recently they have explained in a previous article that the factories they had were in fact the property of a crew, which has been off the stats page for a number of months now, named Gangster Sanctuary. For now The Priory have just been holding the two factories for Gangster Sanctuary. So since there were multiple shootings this week over the Michigan and New Jersey factory what are The Priory planning to keep hold of these factories? Eddard_Stark said that they plan “to continue doing what we're doing, kill anyone who holds it and keep it close to our chest”. We wondered if there would be any circumstances in which they would give up their claims over the factories and Eddard_Stark replied with one short word “None”. We asked the reasons why Gangster Sanctuary were claiming these factories, “They have owned them since the very start of the round and we have protected them well up until now”.

Next we turned to another one of our writers, Sodium, the boss of Padrinos Palace about his crews bullet factory. Firstly we asked about which of the factories his crew owned to which he replied “Padrinos Palace is the current owner of Nevada bullet factory.” So why did they decide to begin claiming it? “The crew who was previously in possession of this bullet factory decided it was no longer the right thing for them. They had had it for an extensive period and for all intents and purposes were the current owners of that factory. They offered us it in return for some compensation, we agreed a figure and it changed hands.” So would they ever give up on their bullet factory? Well Sodium had this to say on the subject: “it depends on the scenario. We're fully ready to protect it but if there becomes a time when it is no longer a benefit to the crew it is at that time when we would need to decide whether a deal such as our predecessors made would be appropriate.” When we asked if he had any final comments he wanted to say “The only thing I'd say is that as many will know Padrinos Palace stands for 3 key values, those of Respect, Loyalty and Trust. We do not have any enemies as such and we treat everyone the same and as fairly as we can. We are not the type to shoot first ask questions later. That said, if we are threatened we will not sit dormant. Hopefully we can keep up our bust comp give-aways in the future with more competitions to come and this is mainly thanks to the revenue the BF generates.”

The Pennsylvania bullet factory is now being held by J.A.I.L., so we went in search of HellHounds, the boss of the crew. He gave a refreshing view when we asked about which bullet factories his crew claimed he said: “J.A.I.L. claims the Pennsylvania bullet factory by ownership. I want to make clear I don't believe in 'claims'. A Bullet factory is property of those holding it. You cannot demand a Bullet factory by saying 'I had it first'. If you have it, you claim it, until someone else has it.” So what would happen if another crew also claimed the factory that they own? He replied with “We will defend our Bullet factory against anyone who wants it. Anyone is free to try and take it, but we will hunt those people down. However, we will not shoot someone for simply saying that they 'claim' our BF”. As with Sodium and Eddard_Stark we asked whether there would be any reason he would give up the bullet factory to which he said: “if we end up in a war over the Bullet factory we will fight for it. At some point in a war, one gives up. If for any reason we feel like we cannot win this war, we will probably let it go.” So for final comments he said “Claiming a Bullet factory based on the history of it is utterly bullshit. People who believe that you own something because you had it before are stupid. That is not the way mafia or a crew in real life works. If you are unable to defend your property or hold on to it, you have no rights claiming it.” So perhaps other crews have it all wrong and people should be fighting over control for a while until someone decides to try and take it from them.

Well at least there won't be any wars over the Louisiana bullet factory which we should thank the Elite Guard for! So as you can see bullet factories can be very detrimental to your health so if you were considering picking up one our advise would be to make sure that it isn't claimed by anyone including underground crews.
