This Monday might have seen the blues for most people however for TFKyle those blues were turned to yellow!
Maybe Sky's determination to give somebody a golden shower spurred this, as TFKyle was painted yellow with his prestigious promotion to Help Desk Operator.
Asking TFKyle who approached him about this promotion, we discovered Sky played the trickster luring him into an unrelated conversation, soon after he found himself taking to Riserva then being asked if he wanted to be made yellow.
At first TFKyle was quite surprised and dumbfounded at the moment of being asked, he even had some reservations about joining, eventually concluding if they had confidence in him, he should as well.
When asked if there were any troll tickets, TFKyle replied "There was one, I missed it entirely though. An acquaintance felt the need to warn the Help Desk I'm a sexual predator. I think it got closed within a minute before I could even see it."
As most former HDO's will tell you, the yellow coat is similar to a target painted on your back. TFKyle isn't that worried at the moment and thinks being part of Event Horizon is more hazardous to his health currently, as for the future, time will tell on this.
As the Help Desk is a major part of the game, in turn it will be a major part of TFKyle's BL life. He will still be playing normally however some of his time will now be dedicated to answering questions, tickets and watching the forums.
So far everybody has been supportive of TFKyle's promotion however he freely admits there is still plenty of time to start getting hated or screw things up.
We contacted Sky and Mika for their opinions of how TFKyle will perform.
Sky gave a gleaming reference stating "I think Kyle will make a great contribution to the Help Desk. He's a very knowledgeable player and an all-round great guy and I think his skill and personality will help to make this the best team of Help Desk Operators the game has seen in a long time."
Mika also was very favourable saying "I think Kyle will do a great job as Help Desk Operator. He has been playing the game for a long time and is very knowledgeable. This combined with a professional attitude made him a great candidate."
