A man went into a furniture shop with a baseball bat and smashed the leg off a antique table and ran out as fast as he could. The shop owner got a good look at the man and the police tracked him down and following up on the owners complaint took him to court.
Unfortunately the vandal was not charged because the evidence wouldn't stand up.
