"THIS ROUND END" and "THIS ROUND CONTINUATION" were pretty big visited and discussed topics in the game forum this week. What does that actually mean, all these discussions about a reset? For the newer people amongst us: A round reset means a total reboot of the game. All accounts are lost, all information and parameters are set to 0, and everyone starts over at scum. But why do we discuss about these matters?
What I always seem to notice is that these kind of messages only come from newly shot, or very poor players. They're pissed about their account being shot or they just lost all their cash and points. This time the killings was the main reason. The game was accused of being "hacked" and this being a "cheat". We noticed opinions on this matter differed, but I read carefully what each player had to say. Most players started with: 'let them first fix the new updates, and then after a while when everything is tested reboot the system and start a new round'. Interesting thought if you ask me. I personally don't see the necesity of a new round. If you're not in the biggest crew, have the most cash, or are hated in this game, whatever you think is important, I don't think a new round will really help you. If you want to have another kind of 'bl life' you can start right now, you don't need everyone to lose their accounts for that!
What I suggest; we keep those feelings well locked up, and see what the Elite Guard gives us for awesome new features. If they work great let's just explore them for a while, and if they don't work great they still have plenty of time to fix them. But for now a reset is not the solution for our personal problems with bl. Just be nice, enjoy the game, whore around and you'll see, a reset won't change the way people react on your behaviour!
