Up until the start of this week we had only seen one State Don from the crew JAIL called iRozan. You may not remember this last State Don quite so well seeing as he was killed a few hours after he got the position. This was a real shame and since then there has not been another State Don.
For a while the community has been trying to guess who will be the next State Don and even, if there will be one at all. With just a single Legendary Don registering on the statistics page we knew that they'd be close or shot. Luckily for Westfalia, he was promoted to State Don before he was shot and is still going strong. Many players will know him as the player with the best bust stats alive or that friendly chap who has always got time to chat. We tracked down our newest State Don and asked him a few questions about his new found position.
We asked him how he was feeling about this promotion as it must be fairly exciting to achieve such a prestigious rank. "It is very exciting indeed" Westfalia told us, "I've been working so hard lately trying to get to state don but also at the same time trying to do it without anyone noticing! Once the bust stats were clear for everyone to see and I was way ahead of the next person I had a lot of people asking me if I was the L Don but I always replied no. It is a great achievement to reach S don in Bootleggers as everyone knows the last one didn't last long and I hope I can survive a while longer." This is very true, the survival is key and thus far, he has survived much longer than iRozan. We asked Westfalia what his plans were for survival. "My main goal at the moment is to be the best buster of all time and to help out some friends oc and rank up. I don't think anyone would have a valid reason to shoot me as I'm quite a neutral player and very easy to get along with but it only takes 1 good with a load of bullets to shoot so we shall see." When we enquired as to his body guard status he told us that he's already got them. Our current best buster is craig_avfc89 who is dead, but with an excellent total of 7,554 successful busts. We asked Westfalia if he's ready for that challenge. "Yea I don't think craig will like it if I beat him but since becoming state don i've already got 400 successful busts!" Since we spoke him, he has achieved many more already and is steaming ahead to become the best buster this round.
Obviously State Don is a big change and a very important rank, so we asked Westfalia what the biggest changes have been for him. "For me, it is the busting. The daily income is not all its made out to be. In 36 hours i've made 5k! Obviously I can choose 3 body guards and build my own bullet factory if I wanted to but that comes at a cost of 10 million and takes 3 days to build so won't be doing that just yet." But what advice would he give a Legendary Don close to ranking? "Well for me it was a case of keeping my head down and not making enemies but I think in this round of BL it's very hard for anyone to get to Respectable Don + but just keep going doing 2 organised crimes a day with the highest ranks you can find and keep the rest of your stats going too". Finally our thoughts turned towards the future and we asked whether he thought that Nation Don would be his next stop. "Yea, that's the plan to be the first nation don but God only knows if i'll make it or not!" With this we thanked him for his time and congratulated him once again.
The second State Don is of course an excellent title and will be immortalised in Bootleggers history but can Westfalia push on and make real round 7 history becoming the first Nation Don? Only time, and bullets, will tell. We at the Buzz wish him well!
