Welcome to another instalment of Behind the Name where we select two Bootleggers players and find out a bit about who they really are! This week features a member of Dirty House, Boosted and our very newest State Don Westfalia. We spoke to Boosted and asked him some intriguing questions.
Our first question was how long has he been playing and what brought him to Bootleggers. "I have been playing for just over 3 months now and I'm not sure to be honest. I played another game similar to this one before for a couple of weeks and really liked it, however after I was shot on that game I figured I would look for another similar game with a more active community and that would be how I stumbled upon Bootleggers." Relatively early days in comparison to some of the others in the community. We asked him what his proudest moment of Bootleggers has been so far. "Wow, that's a tough one. There have been a few so far in my relatively young BL career that I'm quite proud of particularly hitting 1,000 busts and also achieving the 1,000 point mark for the first time. Those two were pretty big, but I'm sure however, that the best is still to come!" Very true, there are many other exciting things but 1,000 busts is definitely impressive!
Obviously Bootleggers is just a small part of many peoples lives so we asked what he liked to do outside of Bootleggers and what his hobbies and interest are. "Outside of BL I am mainly preoccupied with school and work. I study law and work at a small firm not too far from my school. Besides that aspect of my life I also enjoy watching sports (mainly hockey, but I do watch everything), working out and working on/learning about cars." We asked where he was from and he replied "I live in Canada, eh ". A fitting response! We moved back towards Bootleggers and asked what are his goals for the future! Boosted can often be found in a jail or at a bust party. "I do bust a lot" replied Boosted "however I don't join competitions much because I simply do not have the time and patience for them. I multitask a lot while I'm on BL and therefore when it comes to busting usually I just click randomly away without looking at who it is that I am attempting to bust out.
I enjoy socializing with others on here, as well as ranking in general and gambling from time to time. I also enjoy my role as council at ETS and look forward working with the rest of the crew in order to accomplish our target objectives on BL". Finally we went for some quick fire questions and these were the responses we got: Favourite Food: "That's a tough one! I eat lots of veggies and cold cuts but I'd have to say an immaculately cooked steak" (No complaints from us!) Favourite Film: "Depends on my mood! Funny: 'How high' but serious: 'Man on Fire'." Favourite staff member: "Favourite Mod: Sky and Favourite HDO: Ray".
We thanked Boosted for taking part and went to find our other participant!
Our next participant is Westfalia and our first question was how long he had been playing and what got him started. "I first joined in 2003/4 when I was back in school everyone was playing at the time and we was all trying to be the richest and highest rank! I stopped playing until last round and been playing since then!" Fairly committed it would seem and being a State Don would solidify this! We asked him what he got up to outside the world of Bootleggers. "Well I'm pretty busy with work as I run my own plumbing business but after that I love working on old cars especially vw's. I love going away for weekends in my campervan park up get pissed sleep and cook breakfast what more do you want!" Sounds pretty good to us as well! Obviously Westfalia has attained a high rank in Bootleggers but what has his proudest moment been so far? "Making State Don is definitely my proudest moment on BL so far!" As we suspected, and a very good achievement too. And so to our quick fire questions:
Favourite Food: Chinese Favourite Film: Die Hard Favourite Staff member:Aldarion
Once again, we thanked Westfalia for his time and left him feverishly ranking to Nation Don!
That's all for this weeks Behind the Name! Remember to tune in for next weeks edition!
