From Friend To Foe Aetius

With finding underground crews shooters proving to be like an impossible page of a where's wally book, we saw yet another emerging shooter this Tuesday, as established underground unit Most Wanted once again showered the Statistics page with dead bodies! Silence fell as the last of the near seven hundred thousand bullets was fired, which left us at the Buzz to establish exactly what had happened, and why! The majority of Decadence provided the bulk of the body-count, however having previously been strongly liked with Most Wanted, what had led to this clear falling out? We sought interviews with FPT, also known as Tinpot, the shooter of Most Wanted, as well as Bosses of both Decadence and Most Wanted.

Most Wanted had been relatively quiet of late, following deaths of both Bosses Aaron and Aldo, which were reported to of come from leaked information. A report which many would presume to be true, based on the underground nature of Most Wanted as a whole. This combined with an apparent falling out with Moxie, a long-serving member of the crew and renowned player of Bootleggers, had seen the crew revert back to the deepest depths of the shadows. So what had prompted this fire-fight with Decadence? Was it linked to either of the previously mentioned subjects? We found out.

The Buzz got in contact with Aldo, Boss and Leader of Most Wanted. When asked why Decadence, Aldo was clear in his answer, as he told us, "I have always said that we are not allied with any statistics crew, just friendly with some. We had a deal with Decadence, we even gave them the crew spot in which they sit in now. Unfortunately, Atheist decided he wanted to go against us, and certain members were praising someone who had recently shot at some friends of mine, they even went as far as considering to/letting him in the crew." Continuing to say, "I asked Atheist through a mutual friend if they were with us or against us, to which he replied, 'I was never with you Aldo.' That was when I decided that Decadence would be our next target." So it appears Decadence's choice to sever relations with Most Wanted may well of been a poor one. If not a poor decision in itself, poorly executed to say the least, resulting in the loss of nearly all it's crew members accounts. Despite this, they clung on to the crew spot once gifted to them by Most Wanted. The answer we received from Aldo as to the reasons behind the attack did however differ slightly, or wholly, from that of FPT, the shooter in this most recent attack. When we put the same question to him, he told us, "Because I uncovered the fact that Decadence was really a front for a paedophile ring. It was harbouring the notorious kiddie-fiddler who used to be known as Distance - but now goes by an alias." What has to be said, an interesting and probably most sarcastic of answers, but one which, if based on founded claims, may see authorities of a different kind calling round the doors of Decadence members.

We also got in contact with Arcanine, formerly known as SilverTip, Boss of Decadence. We questioned the reasons behind the attack once again, after all for long periods of this round Decadence have been largely associated with Most Wanted, housing members and properties of the crew. Arcanine could apparently only speculate, as he told us, "Unfortunately that reason still eludes me as I have no idea what Aldo was thinking when he decided we were a target, however the only thing I can think of is the fact that a number of weeks ago I decided to pull away from Most Wanted as I felt there was no benefit to our partnership (to which we were being used as meat shields and nothing more). This meant rejecting any of there members inside the crew and staying away from the Bullet factories still in contention with Gangsters Sanctuary." This collaborated in majority with what we had previously been told by Aldo. Most Wanted and its leadership had obviously not appreciated the attempted breaking off of any relationship held by the crews, which in turn had resulted in the attempted wipe of Decadence.

Our next question saw us go back to Aldo. The Most Wanted Boss has long been credited with a efficient and effective shooting and playing style. Having been Boss of Axteze earlier in the round, and guiding Most Wanted to many successful shootings since then, what had lead to the apparent failure of a wipe occurring in this instance? He told us, "We failed a kill on one account, Hiccup. I don't think my shooter noticed 2 extra accounts in the crew either. I didn't spot it because I have been out all evening." This could be taken as a sign that when Aldo is not around, Most Wanted will prove to be the next Axteze, in terms of going to pot as soon as any sort of absence occurs! However, the hit on Decadence were not the only shots fired, as we also saw several crew-less accounts drop. We presumed the reasons behind this were the usual, but thought we should check with Aldo in case, he didn't deviate from the expected response, telling us, "A mixture between looking for possible shooters/gs/tp/bankers!" The success of these shootings would however be hard to gauge, as Aldo went on to say, "Well, I wasn't online for most of today/tonight but the bullets and cash didn't drop much. Hopefully we hit a few GS/TP but I doubt we will ever know."

Our attentions then turned back to Arcanine. Decadence's previous loss of accounts had come about as a result of their association with Most Wanted, after their council and bosses were taken out by a shooter funded by Gangsters Sanctuary. But where do Decadence go from here? We asked Arcanine, who told us, "As for where we are going, I don't think anything has changed and we will just continue going about our business as usual albeit in a rather slower sense for the time being given our new ranks." The choice to remain on the Statistics page after such a hit, in plain view of all those whom have gripes with them, may be seen as a fool-hardy move by Decadence. Arcanine responded to this suggestion, saying, "I actually don't. I feel Most Wanted spent however many bullets/points to shoot us and gained absolutely nothing from it other than that little bit of satisfaction you get from killing someone. We have no problems with any other crew that we know of and I see no problem in us remaining on the stats page for the foreseeable future." Playing down any losses felt from the attack. This coupled with a claim that Decadence now see themselves as enemy-free, all seem like bold claims from a crew who have twice been attacked in recent times. Only time however can tell if these claims will prove to be true.

Our next question was put to the Bosses of both crews, and asked what the goals, aims and future of both crews would be. Arcanine was first to respond, telling us, "For now our aim is to just rank back up and enjoy the game as it is. We have no real goals in mind at the moment as we feel this round is pretty much over already and is in the hands of a few certain players who basically decide what happens in this game. Asura have proved this fact by constantly shooting anyone they please and fair play to them at the end of it like a few remaining players in this once great game I believe that once a crew on the stats or underground controls near total dominance of a round it is in effect a dead round a reset is due." So yet more calls for a Reset. However there seems no sign of one any time soon, so to base your rounds plans on one occurring surely seems fruitless! When asked the same question, Aldo, Boss of Most Wanted, responded, "We will continue to do what we have done so far this round, we are a group of shooters and that's what we enjoy doing!" An indication then of things to come, perhaps? Many claims have been made by many outfits this round, with few coming to fruition. However, Most Wanted, it has to be said, usually deliver what is promised, so we will wait for more bullets to fly with the Most Wanted brand on them, and look to eagerly investigate any such incident!

That left us with only the final comments of both Bosses to follow. They proved interesting, and ultimately at completely opposite ends of the scale. As Arcanine told us, "Nah I'm not the type of person to sit and beg or threaten anyone. I just feel MW have indeed made a mistake in attempting to wipe us, when there are clearly others out there much stronger than they appear to be." We will leave the interpretation of this quote up to you. The final part of which does not ultimately define whether it refers to the strength of Most Wanted or their other potential targets. Aldo responded to this same question in much more illusive manner, saying, "People really shouldn't underestimate us, and you can expect a lot more to come from us in the future." A clear statement from the Most Wanted Boss. What exactly does he mean by this? We will have to wait and see. Neither crew seems intent on continuing the rivalry seen in this shooting. But with stranger things happening, there is certainly still potential.
