How powerful or wealthy are the current UG crews, namely Most Wanted, Asura and The Family? Or is a better question, how influential would they be were we, as a whole community, to take away the puppets that they operate in order to continue their campaigns? The power-hungry fool-hardy Bootleggers users who seek fame and fortune by allowing themselves to be manipulated by these groups, throwing everything they have at them in terms of resources as support for what they perceive to be a part of the common goal and ultimate glory, are they the reason we now see such dominance from the Underground world? Disruption to this mind-set is futile while the puppets of the round continue to be strung along. Is it a case of needing to wake up and see the bigger picture? All those of you who try to, in effect, suck up to Asura, for example. Where do you think Asura would be without you? Consider this. There are fifty different parties all vying for a slice of the Asura lifestyle, wanting to be a part of the group and get some fame of their own. If all fifty of these minor contributing parties were to pull out, resulting in the total loss of funding for the group, where would they be? Nowhere near where they find themselves today is your answer.
This is not to say the leaders of the groups mentioned are not superb in their strategies. Manipulation of the entire Bootleggers user-base is a feat that is not achieved by chance or through luck. But by creating a mind-set that they are so powerful they cannot be challenged. This mind set results in the more fame-hungry of the users seeking a place within these groups. This is paid for, whether it be through running a front, which in this round would be a Statistics based crew, or by contributing resources. Even if this contribution is viewed as minor in order to be considered a part of the most powerful group of the round, imagine you are not the only one.
In fact, you are probably one of up to fifty users or groups who are seeking alliance or to be a part of these groups. The combined resources received from all these individuals, results in a huge amount of resources pouring into the laps of the leaders and shooters of the groups. This allows them to achieve great chaos throughout the round, they may shoot when they want, they can create their own safe-lists, which as a puppet for resources, your name will feature on. This gives you a sense of purpose, a feeling of being 'special' but the reality is, you are one of many, and eventually, at some point, you will be deemed excess to the cause and cast aside. But by this point, you have already born witness to the power you have helped to create, and now fear it.
At this time, it is all but a certainty that underground crews have manipulated the mainstream mentality to such a degree, that the stats crew that fuel their on-going wars and shootings, do not realize the power of their own they may be relinquishing. The leader of Asura, James, admitted himself that the users behind the group are not among the wealthiest Bootleggers. How then would it be possible for them to reap such havoc? You guessed it, it's you again. When a trend is spread throughout Bootleggers that a specific side is the strongest, all the weaker sides jump over to them giving everything they have for them thinking it's their door to power and contribution. Little do they know that the undergrounds true power comes from the weaker and smaller supporting groups who wish to be a part of their supposed 'greater power'.
This imposed mentality is further aided by a weakness of the games greater media. For writers to truly understand the concept of what happens on Bootleggers, they must be well connected, both over and under ground. There should be no connection that cannot be turned in some way to provide information of the most sought after nature. Media giants should demand respect, and this respect should generate leaks of information and rebellion within crews, to expose systems such as those which currently contribute to what many refer to as the ruining of this round. This is further affected by flaws and involvement of said media in this greater picture. If your crew was apart of the big funding or support project for Most Wanted or Asura, you would sure thing conduct an interview with a couple of people to give the illusion of a well conducted interview. But in fact, knowing all along, the lies you received as answers were just that, and would be passed off and published. Writers should be free from corruption or influence by others. Something that I believe, as an individual, that is far from the case in the current set-up.
Is there a dominant force on Bootleggers? Yes, it is you, the user. You just aren’t aware of it. Until now. Why do many crews remain so silent, on an issue which, pardon the pun, dominates the airwaves of Bootleggers discussion? Surely, it would be in their best interests to interact with the community on these points, unless they were actually involved and the source of the problem? Exactly. When more fishing questions are asked, you begin to find more fishy answers. It was of course the case, that the most recent shooter for The Family, BillMurray, could be found a member of Dirty House for long periods before he was released from the crew to carry out his shootings. He is however not the only account linked to The Family that can be traced back to Dirty House. This combined with the announcement in the forum, by kicked and killed member Hawaii, that Dirty House currently holds The Familys shooters, fuel further speculation of stats crews sucking up to groups such as The Family. It may also be identified that La Onda could be one of these crews. Recently killed MrFantasticV2, who proved to be none other than Aldo, leader of Most Wanted, stocked with over three hundred thousand bullets, could also be found hiding within their spot. Just how many stats based crews are covering for these underground groups? Further information has emerged that closer to the start of the formation of Most Wanted, Pannu, a renowned player in Bootleggers history, was in fact the main benefactor in their funding, providing cash from an account that lay within Padrinos Palace.
From this we move on to Bullet Factories, the single most valuable asset to any owner on the game, weighing in, in price, with recent valuations of around ten thousand plus points. However seeming be controlled, at the current moment in time, largely by underground crews or so is claimed. This comes in exchange for a place, on the once again illusive safe-list. The standard deal is said to be, that the crew holds the Bullet Factory or Factories, and provides any crew bullets to the crew which they hold it for, in exchange for keeping the funds and a guarantee to not be shot in any the supported crews sprees (a place on their safe list).
What is this safe-list I can hear being asked. Well, it’s a combination of all accounts deemed safe and needed to be kept free of blood splatters when it comes to shootings. When crews or users associated with crews such as The Family and Asura wish to carry out a shooting, they must submit a list of their targets to the crew, who will remove any names that feature on their list, and may even add a name or two, and then will approve the kill listings and they will go ahead. This further contributes to the crews dominance and power in the round. Or that is how we are told it works, as least.
This could only be seen from a large overhaul of current systems and ethics. Depths of writing need to be established, questions beyond questions should be asked. Sources of information beyond the normal or expected must be established, in order to allow for the underground world to be tapped into in articles published as much as those in the over ground world. Under current leadership or under current plans, this will not happen, that is a certainty. However, it could happen. The right support and direction of this movement would be all that is required to see the entire landscape of Bootleggers shaken.
