This weeks selection for Forum Post of the Week comes from out former writer and Boss of Enemy of The State, Stow.
I know I don't normally crime and I never really did on any of my previous accounts but it has never taken this long to rank. I noticed that on my previous account too and with several others out there having the same problem. I'm almost certain the rank requirements have changed but the mods are not telling is about it. Maybe like a trial to see how it goes.
No this is not a bitching topic but more of an observation.

In perhaps the only topic of the year to date which received nothing but a general consensus of agreement. Stow's informative topic regarded the possible, or at least seeming to be apparent, change in rank requirements. It was widely supported by various users Statistics to rank being posted, seeming to differ in a consistent manner on a case by case basis compared to Statistics to rank that can drawn from earlier in the round.
So, has there been any hidden changes to the rank requirements that we have not been informed of? It was only recently that I myself wrote an article on ranking, speaking to Aldarion in this article, who seemed to suggest that ranking, if anything, needed to be made easier in order to be compatible with the current user base.
The evidence provided by current users seems to contradict any such work happening though, as players seem to be finding it harder and harder to reach their desired ranks! It has neither been confirmed or denied by the Elite Guard as to whether there is any substance behind these claims. But the rare cohesion of users getting behind a claim in a similar direction would often suggest that they are right.
