Hello ChumpyChumpChumperson?! Please introduce yourself to our lovely Bootleggers Community! Hi! My name is Jordy, but people here call me Payne. I've been playing here since the start of this round, so you could say I'm a newschool player. In real life I am a student who is studying econometrics in Amsterdam. Furthermore I play a lot drive with some mates to the Alps to go snowboarding for a bit.
What the hell is econometrics?! Econometrics is a kind of economic study, only filled with a lot of math. You could say I'm a type of nerd I guess. For instance, there was a game forum post a while back when someone asked for the keno chances, so I calculated them and posted it along with the formula. 5 minutes later someone replied it was also available on Riserva's profile.
What kind of job can you get with such a study? I will hopefully end up working for an investment company. I'd like to help people invest their money wisely in stocks and then hopefully multiplying their investment for them.
Interesting! What about the Bootleggers stock market?! I took a look at it when I started playing Bootleggers, but it annoyed. It's basically gambling because you cannot predict whether a stock will rise or drop on here. Plus the fact that the figures shown are buggy and lagging often which makes it annoying to invest.
You lost your money, pretty clear. Okkkkkk, time for Bootleggers related questions! Current state of the game, tell me about it! The current state is that it is slowly dying. Every week less and less people sign in to play the game. This is due to 2 reasons. First of all, it's a normal trend for rounds to lose the interest of people over time. It's a natural procedure and it will decrease until the next round will start. But secondly, I think Kyle is a major factor to the game losing its players. He did a good job when appointing James as new administrator and a lot of useful small updates have occurred. But at the end of last year he made a Buzz article about the updates to come, and promised big updates. Yet, we're almost going into the second quarter of the year but nothing has changed. It disappoints people and they lose interest in the game. I hope he will come through soon though with the new achievements update for instance and that it will attract more players.
If you were BSF2000, how would you attract new players? I'd try to attract new players via advertisement. I do not know how everyone got here, but I got here via word of mouth. I heard some vague stories about BSF advertising the game on the radio in America the other day. I think that is a good thing to do and I hope he will continue to do that.
What about social media? I think the social media could be used better as well. I've been on the Facebook page of bootleggers once and it just sucked. Last post 3 months ago and no activity at all. If it would be more active I think it will attract more players for sure. But all in all, I think it will be better to fix the game first regarding the kill system and update the crew feature, and then start attracting new players.
I see. What is your favourite feature at this moment? The bust party organizer. I really like how it lets you keep track of the busts. It also has made busting more active and there are always people to be found in the jail again!
Ahhhh come on!!! The whole Game Forum is full with those topics! You don't mind?! It annoys me a bit yeah, but it's better than no activity like before on that regard. Though I would like to see Sky updating the bust party so that you can start it from 100K onwards. It will decrease the amount of bust parties being held. Because sometimes it gets a bit crazy with 5 people waiting in line to hold a bust competition.

One P for the money, two for the show, three to introduce yourself to the Bootleggers Community, let’s go! My real name is James and I'm a student studying Pharmacy in Brighton. I was introduced to Bootleggers by the old HDO Lew. I left the game for a few years and I got back into it near the start of this round. I've always enjoyed being in crews and am currently with Padrinos Palace. My hobbies are playing/watching football and going out nightclubbing.

Could you tell us a bit more about that study? Yeh its the study of chemistry including a bit of biology. The main aspect we study is drug action and the molecular make up of them.
Interesting! What kind of job can you get with it? Drug research, chemical research analytical lab work... Meth cook!
Uhhm... awesome! Why do you like it so much? I was good at chemistry in school its interesting and I could potentially do something to change the world!
Going to invent a fancy medicine for cancer?! You never know, ha to be fair I dunno if i'll go into research chemistry its long and I don't want to get stuck in a Lab.
Where do you see yourself in five years? When I finish university I would really like to save up and go travelling in Asia and or South America.
Amazing, but why?!!! To see the world, make new friends, cut lose from my life and take a break from routine.
That's beautiful really. How did you come up with that idea? Few of my mates did it before university, and I never did. I was told by everyone how amazing it was and I need to do it.
Awesome! Alright, Bootleggers time. What's your opinion of the current state of the game? I'm not one to complain and I don't really have any problems with the game. But if a gun was held to my head, I'd say I would like to see a change in the crew system, making crew less like sitting ducks. At the moment in Bootleggers I've got really into my busting.
How would you change the crew feature? Not sure really, it needs to be harder to take down a crew, its ridiculous that one player is able to take down a crew on his own.
