The Family is a crew who dominated round 6, the previous round on Bootleggers. This round a new crew showed up, named Asura. Asura is an underground crew who is playing for a similar cause if not alongside The Family. Together they are shooting crewless accounts nearly every week and a lot of innocent players. According to Asura, the players on Bootleggers have the wrong mentality. Together with other players, they are claiming that Bootleggers turned into a social network, instead of a mafia game. I believe the players who are claiming this, have to scratch behind their little ears. Everyone plays Bootleggers because they want to have fun. Some players find busting fun and other players find chatting on the forums fun. When I get killed with 5,000 successful busts, I have the right to complain. Is this wrong mentality? I believe The Family has the wrong mentality.
Nearly every week we witness a shooting of an underground crew. Most of the times crewless players are being shot, because they might be banking a fancy amount of cash or they might be an underground shooter. A lot of underground crews are playing together, like: Asura, The Family, Most Wanted and their Statistics crew puppets. The result of this ‘alliance’ is a big safety list. Players who are not on that safety list are screwed and will most likely be killed in a shooting of Asura or The Family. Those players start complaining once they get shot. The answer of this ‘alliance’: ‘grab your gun and try to kill us then. Bootleggers isn’t no social network’. Easier said than done, because this alliance is unstoppable at this moment. Why? Because several members of this ‘alliance’ have the wrong mentality. I am pointing at the fan club of Torres; The Family.
This week we witnessed two shootings of The Family. The first shooting, performed by chalmang was aimed at La Onda and several crewless players. The second shooting, performed by LionelHutz was aimed at Padrinos Palace, which resulted in their wipe. The Buzz contacted LionelHutz to get some information regarding his shooting. Unfortunately he ‘already sold his story’. A quote which we have heard before and one which still amuses us now. You can’t sell a story if you don’t have a story.
This round we witnessed several shootings. I believe we can conclude that Asura is the crew which performed the most shootings by now. The Family also performed several shootings, but they are simply too scared to admit that they were behind the attack. For example, a few weeks ago we witnessed the shooting of WiiU. At that time we asked the player if he was associated with any crew. According to WiiU he wasn’t, but this was a big lie; he was part of The Family. But why is The Family doing this? Aren’t they proud to admit that they were behind the shootings?! Do they have a reason to keep it a secret? This round The Family shot several allies of the ‘alliance’. All shootings were not admitted by The Family, because they wanted to keep the ‘alliance’ alive. Talking about mentality...
Luckily we witnessed a public shooting of The Family again, because that’s been a while. But why do they wait so long? Well, a few months ago we saw a member of The Family leaving; HighBury. A player who had a lot of points and was probably the richest player of this round. He decided to quit Bootleggers, because he was banned and therefore lost all cash. Losing all your cash and quit? A pathetic mentality. HighBury wasn’t the only player of The Family who got banned. A few months ago several accounts of The Family also got banned, which resulted in a huge drop of total in-game money. There’s only one reason why you get banned; you are cheating. Cheating? A pathetic mentality.
How do you dominate Bootleggers? The first step it to earn as much as money at the start of the round. Buy a lot of points as cheap as possible and sell them later in the round. It’s a smart tactic and a legal one. The underground crews like Asura and Most Wanted had this tactic and they succeeded. They are very wealthy and it’s simply impossible for a new player to earn that much wealth in this stage of the round. The Family also had this tactic, but they decided use scripts and buy some Indian stuff. Most members of The Family are cheaters and they are talking about mentality? The only mentality on Bootleggers is to have fun, that’s the only reason why we play this game. I’m being killed once in three weeks and I simply don’t care. Why? I guess that’s my ''mentality''.
