Could you introduce yourself to the Bootleggers Community?! Some people on here call me Puss, others call me Matt. I'm 22 years old and live right outside of Boston Massachusetts. Beantown!
Awesome! Do you study/work/playing BL24/7?! Don't have time to play BL 24/7 but i'll admit i'm on a lot haha. I work as a Financial Adviser, started last May after I graduated from college.
Ohhhh that sounds interesting! Could you tell us more about that job? Sure, I work with families and business owners develop a financial plan so that they can essentially live and retire comfortably. I meet with my clients to alleviate any concerns they have when it comes to their finances. I've only been doing it for a little under a year now but I'm really enjoying it and it is great experience for me to also further my career.
Amazing. Are you a freelancer of employee of a company? I run my own financial practice through New York Life so I work through a large company
Elaborate! I work out of a company office but I create my own book of business, my own clients. Their money is held with New York Life (one of the strongest Financial Companies around) but they only really deal with me. I am licensed to provide my clients with annuities, 401(k) rollovers, setting up IRA's, college funds, life insurance, health insurance and a few other things so I have a wide array of products and services that I can provide to people.
What happens if your clients go bankrupt? You're screwed? I wouldn't let that happen, I position their money according to their risk tolerance (what they can afford to lose) and this almost completely assures they won't go bankrupt. If I ever messed up that badly I'd be in some serious trouble.
You better watch out! Time for some Bootleggers questions. Current state of the game, your opinion! To be honest, I'm a little disappointed about how many people are still playing this game. I started playing about 8 years ago when i was in highschool and it seemed so many people played back then its almost fizzling out. I took a hyadis for about 6 years before I came back about a year ago.
You mean the mentality of the players? And just the users online in general, seems like compared to years past its about half maybe even less than what it used to be. I miss the days when there was 1,000 people around haha was far more interesting
Will it ever be the same again? I'm hoping so but I think that some effort needs to go into marketing for the game in order to attract new players. The game needs to expand again as there are only a select few hundred people that still play
What's the best way of marketing? Incentive programs are usually nice, an app for smart phone users may attract a new type of player and just more users in general, google advertising. Anything really though, I know there is a facebook page but i don't think thats enough
What would you like to see on the Facebook page? I think that its fine its just not enough on its own. I feel like the facebook page is the only real marketing that goes into this game and I think more "angels" need to be explored
I see. What about the current Elite Guard? Yay or nay? I think that certain members give good effort such as Sky with his attempted updates and what not so yay on that end. But I'm not sure I understand BSF and his scheduled updates. Just don't speak about the updates and people won't expect them to happen, it's a let down every time. So nay when it comes to things like that
Fair enough! If you had to demote one Moderator, who would you pick?! Thats a tough question but I don't think i'd demote any of them. Just more activity from BSF and Riserva could possibly help the game
Seems legit. Which HDO would you promote to Moderator?! I don't think I would promote anyone, I think the mods and HDO's are all in the right place right now but I do think the game could use another scripter or two to speed up updates and bug fixes that will progress the game
Perfect! Random questions incoming. North Korea, what's going to happen? Oh man, serious issue here now. I'm hoping that Kim Jong Un is just bluffing but who knows he could fire off a few missles that devastate a large portion of the world. Crazy stuff there

Could you introduce yourself to the fancy Bootleggers community?! Of course! I'm Hippy, also known as the HippyDippyWeatherman. Some might know my weather reports in Kevlar's Bootblast shows! I'm 25 years old, from the land of the Dutchies. I'm rather new to BL, but not to these kind of games, which is the reason I immediately started on busting only. And yes, I'm kind of a real life hippy!
Awesome! Do you work/study in real life?! I study psychology and do some web developing in my free time, with which I also earn "gifts".
Psychology! How does that study looks like? I mean, what the hell is it? It's a very self reflecting study, a lot of moral questions and a lot about ways of thinking. Basically you learn to be very objective and also to not get dragged in other people's problems when trying to solve them.
Do you find it a hard study? It's an amazing interesting study, but I don't find it hard. As long as something has my interest, I'm usually quite good at it.
Hmm interesting. Why do you like it so much? I've always been that guy people talk to when they have something on their chest. I've noticed that my own experiences in life also help me with helping them. Of course it's not to compare or anything, but it helps me when I want to put myself in their position. Besides that, I've had my own fair share of psychologists and I noticed some things which could be changed to make things work for some individuals. This is what I'd like to give a shot when I finish.
Hmm. What's your biggest dream, ever?! Living in the woods, in the middle of nowhere. Growing/finding my own vegetables, having some chickens etc too. A kind of eternal bush crafting.
Haha, amazing! You stated that you're a kind of hippy in real life. Elaborate! I don't like fights, I like my freedom, I absolutely disgust money (hence my all time dream), I tend to not be enslaved by any system whatsoever as much as possible. I'm no vegetarian or whatever, I do however take a moment to thank whatever died for me to feed me. I don't say "hippies did that so I have to do that too!" as that would only limit my experiences and my freedom. I just go with the wind, where ever life might take me to...
Awesome! Time for some Bootleggers questions. Current state of the game, yay or nay?! Yay! Some minor changes would be nice, but generally, a big yay!
What kind of changes? A change a lot of people suddenly seem to come up with after a mass shooting: The current kill system. Apparently one shooter can go on a kill spree without any risk , but the risk of not shooting with enough bullets. It'd be a nice change if this would be a bit more risky too. Perhaps some features for people who bust only. I'm on 0 crimes, 0 oc's etc. I ranked on a failed bust after I got my 12th... I'm nearly at 200 and still thug. That's a bit odd as well. Though I do understand it might enforce people who do care about ranking, to do crimes/oc's. And maybe, next to bootlegging, to make travelling even more interesting or different cities more interesting (as almost everyone is in illi 80% of the time) some features which are only available in 1 city. They're just some rough ideas on scratch, but I do think if some experts could break their minds over it, it'd make the complete game more interesting and it'd make the rate of complaining players (who basically nag the shite out of it every time there's a killing spree xD) a lot less.
Very interesting. What do you think of BSF2000? I think he's very underestimated. People don't see him on the forums, people don't see features which he said would be there, therefore he's an inactive lazy dude who should be boycotted and who is to blame for this game "dying". I think it's a very unfair statement to make. Some might not realise it but we all have a personal life next to this (and perhaps other) game(s). Who knows why he hasn't been online for a while? We don't know. But suggestions are made all the time and loud yellers get loud followers who each get followers as well. Then suddenly there's a huge group believing he doesn't do shit. I think he has his reasons for his actions, as does everyone else. I don't see him as a bad guy or whatever. Some say "I ALWAYS keep to my promises". There's news for those people: Nobody ALWAYS does. And untill I don't know why BSF does what he does, I won't judge him. I like this game, which he set up. Therefore I'm thankful to him.
Awesome! Do you believe the crew feature needs a change? I am no crew boss, never have been one, so I have no clue what features are there, never mind what needs improvement. I do think being in a crew should be rewarding by the game itself. Now your reward is bound to the users (protection, easier to get something you want, you're busted out more than when you're crewless, easier to oc etc) but from within the game there's not really an advantage to my knowledge. I think that would be nice.

Perfect choice, really! Alright. You already gave it away, but... What's behind your name?! Actually, the name started with HippyDippyWeatherman. It's a "character" played by my favourite stand up comedian, George Carlin, when he was younger. It's an awesome piece of stand up. RIP Mr Carlin by the way.
