Last week it finally started, Behind The Masks. Unfortunately we did not have a splendid start, because everyone had to wait for Sky, who was extremely busy in real life. Ah well, two days later it really started! That same day there were already various players who submitted the correct answers at the Buzz site. There were also players who had to wait for me or Sky to verify their account. Excuse or not, you had two weeks to verify it! Anyway, I bet you are interested in the name of the winner!
The player who was able to submit the 10 names of the Buzz Masks is the one and only Alan89. We at The Buzz had the honour to interview him. We asked him if he expected to be the first one and how he was able to solve the riddles. Did he work together with someone or is this guy extremely smart? Maybe the riddles were too easy? According to Alan89, he worked together with many players, who all attributed to his victory. He also stated that the contest was ‘INSANE’ and his brain nearly exploded. Finally, we asked our winner what he is going to do with this fabulous prize of 1,000 points. He stated: ‘I haven't got a clue. I've never won this much before, hmmm maybe buy a police car and do a police car oc and maybe own a slots as I've never owned one of those before’. A few police car Organised Crimes and some fancy Slot machines, fair enough! A big congratulations to the winner Alan89, but also a big applause to the other winners. Other winners?! Well, we also have a prize for the second and third person who were able to submit the correct answer!
The second person who submitted the correct answer is the player named CopKilla. With this great achievement he is officially owner of 300 points! Unfortunately the Buzz was not able to have an exclusive interview with this player, but luckily we were able to have a talk with DirtyLisaLoo. Lisa was the third person who submitted the correct answers and she is now owner of 100 points. The conversation with Lisa was short and powerful, since she had, as always, a fancy hangover. We asked her how she was able to find those 10 accounts so fast! ‘Well to be honest the first 8 were fairly easy. They kinda stumped you at first but once ya sat and thought about it, the answer was right there. The last 2 i will admit i did get help with as my brain had kinda switched off once i saw numbers! Although i wasn't told the answer i was given an extra clue to work it out which i obviously did! Yay!’. She received a hint and she was still able to claim the third price, amazing! We gave her a bottle of wine and continued out interview spree. It was now time to interview a random participant; Lithium.
Lithium was the first player who submitted correct answers at the Buzz Site, but unfortunately he only posted nine names. As we have to be strict, his answer was wrong and therefore he didn’t win any prizes. Winner or not, we had an exclusive interview with mister element. We asked him how he was eventually able to solve the contest. His reply: ‘I stumbled across a mask which was EventHorizon and it stuck me as odd that someone would create an account called this so clicked on the profile a there I was with a buzz mask! Quite exciting but I'd come in halfway through the journey! I managed to track the rest of the names from the EventHorizon point and it really required some out of the box thinking. I didn't get the first one so had to think about the first clue a lot more. Ruler of the nation suggested Nation Don and then I realised it was none. That was one of my favourite clues. Me and alan89 helped each other and he gave me 3 answers to match my 7 haha! Overall, enormous fun! It's good to have to use your brain in BL and this certainly made that happen’. An honest response from the old Buzz Writer who definitely deserved a prize. Unfortunately he was not able to win, but the Bootleggers Buzz is already planning a next give away. A big congratulations to the winners and I hope every participant enjoyed the contest as much as we do!
