The Nation Don rank has been on Bootleggers for quite some time now. I wanted to write an article about this seeing our current Nation Don being there for quite some time now. Is being a Nation a curse or a blessing?
I had a conversation with RatFaceRay about this matter as he is our current Nation Don. I wanted to know from him what he thinks of the current Nation Don rank. I asked him if he likes to be our Nation Don. He responded “It is good being the NDon. But it can be a bit boring at times.” Boring? I think a lot of people out there wished they were the Nation Don, but wouldn’t they get bored after a while? Well that question can only be answered when we have a new Nation Don of course, so for now we can only believe what RatFaceRay is saying. Another question that popped into my mind was the strength of the Nation Don rank. Is the Nation Don really the most powerful person on Bootleggers? “As for being the most powerful person rank wise yes, but as for real power there are a few players that could kill me in a few seconds.” responded our Nation Don. I agreed with him on this as I know that some people on Bootleggers have so much resources that they could do some serious damage to the community of Bootleggers. Take the crew wipes for instance. Crews get wiped very often lately, so it must mean that those people have more power thsn just our Nation Don isn’t it? Well we all know that the Nation Don does have his own private bullet factory that produces bullets every hour. So our Nation Don could get a lot bullets in a short amount of time, but then again as RatFaceRay stated, he’s just one account, one person to be killed and he is gone.
We had a look at the advantages and disadvantages of the Nation Don rank. Disadvantages? Yes, being a Nation Don has also disadvantages, but what on earth could those disadvantages be? Well our Nation Don responded with: “Well one is busty. It is way easier. I can bust all day long and hardly stay in jail. Not to sound all almighty, my busty in a comp is just not right. No one else would win. And I call that a disadvantage to the rest of the game. Some plays tell me to go for it. And some other do not like me doing it. So being the top rank has both advantages and disadvantages. The other is I get to OC a lot. Some days it can be up to 6-8 times. I like doing them with everyone. Money wise is a bit on the slow side. But once all the casinos are using the Cashier for chips that will change some. Another is a Bullet Factory. But you need to see that one for yourself when you get up there. Some things are best found out by one self. “Are these really disadvantages? It’s a 100% yes, by our current Nation Don. But do the disadvantages really out race the advantages? Is it really so that the Nation Don rank is a curse? RatFaceRay responded: “Well to me they are. Someone else would buy there BF and stock pile bullets like crazy. That is a great advantage. I see it as a disadvantage to me. I have people asking me all the time to kill someone or to kill them. I will do the request kill if they pay the cost of the search and bullets. And the OC’s are an advantage to the people. But sometimes can be a disadvantage with all the messages. Do not get me wrong. But it is a double edge sword on these. A balancing act you could say.” Well this might make us see it in another perspective isn’t it? Do we really see this rank as a curse? Well it’s everyone’s own opinion. So is RatFaceRay not afraid of getting killed just because he is the Nation Don? As a lot of State Dons didn’t even last a few days being up there. He responded “We all are afraid of that. If I do get killed I can say one thing. I have the record for this round and I can live with that.” That’s quite some record if you ask me! Last questions really what remains is what RatFaceRay his magic is to stay on the Nation Don rank longer than I can remember someone being up there? “To be honest I do not know. I must have a lot of people watching out for me. And if that is the case I want to say.” he responded.
So dear Bootleggers community what have we learned from this conversation I had with our Nation Don? Well basically that it’s both a curse and a blessing as a lot of things are good and a lot of things are bad. Some might think differently about it as it is an opinion by our current Nation Don. It does give you a view of how it is to be a Nation Don. You get a lot of messages for Organized Crimes, get messages with people asking you to shoot someone as it’s not hard for a Nation Don to shoot someone seen the amount of time a Nation Don has to search a player.
