The Illinois Busting GPX was a great event that brought busters from all over to come together and compete, especially since the Nation Don RGTand State Don terrapin were not in attendance. Out of all of the racers, a LEGENDARY GODFATHER beat out multiple Don+ busters to take 1st place in the race!
We had a chance to speak with our winner after the race and this is what our winner had to say:
DrDooM! You just won the Illinois Busting GPX! How do you feel! Over the fucking moon! I stayed up and it was all worth it.
You were up against some pretty good competition. Did you have any special strategy to win? Tbh I was up against all Dons but they died except for Gruber but I thought I give it a shot. You can't have a strategy for busting. Your either good or you ain't. I felt pretty confident going into it.
Fair enough. Now, you are the first person to win a GPX that wasn't on the Top Alive Busters/All Time Busters list AND you are currently ranked Legendary Godfather, did you ever think you could win a Busting GPX? I'm very competitive and everything I particapte in I go in with an winning attitude which I have used all my life. So yes I had to believe I was going to win. I had a slow start at first but I never give up just kept going right to the end. My rank didn't matter because I nearly beat the 1st Nation Don when I was Assassin and just lost out by 1. So for me rank doesn't matter.
That is awesome! I am sure we will see your name again in GPXs to come, any advice you can give to your competitors? Just keep trying, never say never, always think like a winner and never self bust in a competition.

Yeah they could have meant trouble if either of them would have attended the race. You had an amazing streak close to the end of the race, did you think you could come back from so far and win? i did it before in bustpartys...but you cant be lucky all the time...I thought i could have a change but DrDooM finished it a minute later....GRATZ DrDooM

Many people thought you were going to come back and win! You gave a great performance during the race. Any advice you can give to all the other racers out there for the next race? just hang in there....you never know when you hit the big streak....and hope that Terra and RGT are not there
