Alright TwilightSparkle, could you introduce yourself to the Bootleggers Community?! Hello, I am Etalon or Ponyboy, a name given by kevlar. I've been playing bl since somewhere 2004. I started out under the name "Vinniea2a" which became etalon, and eventually, after everyone's favourite DJ Kevlar called me Ponyboy enough, Ponyboy. I am a 22 year old chemistry student from Nijmegen, The Netherlands. I fill my spare time with going out, drinking, gaming, watching tv series.. and, probably most apparant to the ones that visit the forums now and again, ponies.
Ponies, that's an interesting hobby. Tell us more! Of course I'm talking about my little pony specifically here, but I don't think anyone doubted that: I'm sure many a person that is on the internet in a regular basis has seen us bronies around. Basicly I found out about them through the internet, gave it a watch, thought meh it's okay I guess. After entering the brony community though, I started to adore the music, fanvideos and memes and well. there goes the hobby. In real life we are with about ~10 bronies over at my university, and we sometimes hold some parties where we watch one maybe two episodes, but for the rest of the evening just hang around, drinking beer/using some soft drugs and having a good time.
What's so awesome about ponies?! You know, I really don't know. for me it's mainly the community it has. although, to be fair, I was already friends with most of the people that call themselves "brony" around me(and may even be one of the causes they are in the first place), and it's just I guess something to have in common. as other's may have a get together to watch the final episode of dexter, we do this for a my little pony episode. The show itself is ofcourse, very well made though, good animation, brilliant voice acting and a good producer(for the first season, anyways). she used to work on powerpuff girls, too.. originally intended for girls but maybe in your youth, even you might've watched it. In short: It's hard to explain. they just are.
Powerpuff girls were awesome! The Bootleggers Community not always like your pony pictures. Do you have any idea why? The only thing I can think of is that they consider it going off topic or trolling, which it regularly is, but not always. In certain music topics I might just put pony related music. But even this is seen as off topic behaviour and trolling as many just aren't interested. I am fully aware of this, however I enjoy posting them, and that's all that REALLY matters to me, it shouldn't cause too much inconvenience provided I don't literally spam them(something I have done a few months back).
Your hobby is pretty rare. Do you find it weird? It may be a bit weird, but I don't think that has to be something bad.
Interesting. Do you think it's a hobby or an obsession? I'd say it's a hobby. although on BL it may seem like im doing nothing but it, it doesn't really affect my real life all that much. I'm not running around with pony shirts or fedora's and the only pony related merchandise I have were given to me as a birthday present.
Awsum! Bootleggers time, would you define yourself as a troll? I would define myself as having two sides to me in bootleggers. One I display on the forums, being a forum troll is part of this. One is the more serious side and even though being a forum troll might get you killed at times I do legitimitely like playing this game. As such it will not surprise you that I have not have had a single account I didn't at least try to rank up.Righ now im godfather on this one, and for the last 2 weeks, have been doing 2 organized crimes per day. I joined TEB and am enjoying my stay in this crew with some people I already knew from previous rounds. You will see me most of the time holding casinos. I like it more than actually gambling on casinos. I don't know why.. It's a different kind of excitement. Yet I haven't had any true luck and havent really seen a lot of wealth from it yet. These are things typical "trolls" would generally not do, so see me as a sort of hybrid.
Alright. You said you started playing around 2004. Do you miss that time? A bit, not all of it though(I like the new kill feature, and missions better, for example). What I miss most I think is just the amount of users online. And I know many will say those were just dupes, and to an extent, they are probably right. however I know a decent amount of people that don't play anymore, and I also know that barely any new players are coming towards BL, so it's ridiculous to think that there hasn't been a great decline in players too. I also miss the ridiculous OC payouts compared to costs, and I miss sabin&5Litre, two of my favourites. I also liked that most crews were on stats were now being UG is the hype, primarily because you just can't fight against that. I liked you could actually declare a crewwar and such. What I don't miss are the exploits, cheaters, and dupers.
Do we need a reset? I don't know. I'm divided. at this stage of the game I'm inclined to say yes, but purely because the wealth is all in the hands of a very small group of people that keep randomly killing those that aren't with them, just to be able to keep the power. I think this makes the game much much MUCH more dull, and that's a shame. a reset could solve this but the problem is, for how long?
What's the best way to 'prevent' such a happening? I don't really think it has to be pretended, a group dominates basicly means that group has "won" doesn't it? The biggest thing to prevent is for this group to be pulling the strings invisibly(limit the power of UG crews and people). and I am clueless on how to do that.. maybe give statcrews more benefits?
Is there any way to introduce ponies at Bootleggers? Ofcourse there is, you could send someone an anonymous ponyhead when he logs in as a threat! No but seriously, I don't really think this is something anybody, including me, would want.
Pity! What's your opinion of the Elite Guard? Well I liked the old elite guard better, and that's not to diss the current one but I just loved Sabin's involvment with the game(although the casino stuff he did may be a bit over the top) and I loved 5Litre's mentality. Nyxxie, well it's hard.. it really depended on the day wether or not I liked her. There were some days were it was a bit drama-like but overall she wasn't too bad. Plus I had the honor of personally receiving a glittery christmas card sent by nyxxie. That's probably the most awesome thing the EG ever did for me. That is not to say I don't like the current elite guard, although I'm pretty indifferent to BSF aswel as Riserva(they never really did anything too bad in my eyes, but nothing extremely good either, BSF may do some more, like at least verify points within 12 hours or something). I do like Mika and Sky, I love the fact Sky gets involved in the game and regularly posts on the forum, giving us some contact into the EG. As for Mika, although I'm not sure I think the most professional replies on the HD are made by him. This is not to say the others are bad, just that he is probably the best. He is also one of my old crewbosses, and loyalty fades hard. Still, I must say I liked the old one better. Please do forgive me Sky&Mika.
Seems legit! Time for random crap! My little pony or power rangers? D....do you even need to ask? My little pony, I disliked powerrangers even as a kid (I'm so going to get hate for this).. it had too low production value in my eyes.
Favourite episode of my little pony? Hard one. I'd say the standard one(most have this or lesson zero as favourite), Party of one(season 1 episode 25).
Why that one? There's some funny bits in there like the interrogation of spike, but the best thing about it is you see one of the most happy and random ponies(pinkie) completely lose her mind. She goes crazy, starts making up personalities for random household objects and freaks out completely to the point of basicly not seeing the point of it all anymore. I don't know, it's something you wouldnt expect from a show build around colorfulness and happiness.
Biggest fool on Bootleggers? I would like to refrain from answering this question to avoid drama to befall upon me or my crew. please leave it out.(because I know hes capable of taking shit too far).
Rofl! Microwave or walkie talkie? Microwave. as a student the thing is the best thing to have(even tho I only eat about it once every ~2 weeks, it's very handy during exam periods).
BSF stands for... Butt Strike Force.
Awesome! Rank or money? Unless you are an S. Don or N. don, and even then it's debatable, money gives more power than rank. so money.

Twilight Sparkle: Main character from my little pony, so the first of the series, if I die I'll probably name myself after an other character. Ponyboy(new bl name): in DJ Kevlar's LEGENDARY bootcasts he always referred to me as Ponyboy. I took this name as my own and it's now how Ill be going through bootleggers as. Etalon (old bl name): more correctly: eTalon but that looks lame, comes from electronic talon, something I made up when I was young.

Hello AlexanderZuis, please introduce yourself to the Bootleggers Community! My name is Ameer, 25 years old from Jordan, Been around since 2005. I Studied graphic design in university and i work as a graphic designer.
What exactly is a graphic designer? Well Graphic Designer its working on images and editing on them professionally (2D) not (3D). GD is working on programs like Photoshop - InDesign - Flash By Adobe! And other programs like Autocad - 3D max y AutoDesk. You must have Imagination and fantasy.
It all makes sense since you are a picmaker on Bootleggers. What's the life of a picmaker on Bootleggers? Yeah that's right, im proud to be BL Pic Maker and i always wanted to be be pic maker here. That's why i entered Graphic designer in university. Im playing BL before i go to college. and i love making pics, well i will talk about my life not all BL pic makers. My life in BL just to make pics and gamble with the cash i made. and oc'ing with friends. to have some good time.
How many points/money do you have earned so far? Round 7 since 1st day to now around 40/50k Points.
That's amazing! Talking about Bootleggers... How did you end up playing this game? Hmmmm My big brother was playing before me,He asked to do a profile pic for him and i tried to do some pics for him here and he was asking me some times to do some crimes/GTA... etc. After couple months i made my 1st account "Zuis" and i start playing the game and i joined a crew "Mobb Figaz".
Interesting! What's your opinion of the current state of the game? I really like it, loved the colors and new design by Sky and especially Crew dominance. and i hope to see more S.dons on it. the rank i always wanted to reached it.Thanks to BSF2000 grr!
What's your opinion of the crew feature? Crew feature its very good to players they know each other in real life. i've been a crew boss once and i got my real life friend on it. didn't used it for bullets and ranking stuff. just for friends.
What feature would you change if you were BSF2000? Kill feature and RLT.
How would you change it? About kill feature i don't know! im not interesting in shooting any more since i lost my 1st account.
but i've seen topic about supporting crew and kill feature to be changed! about the RLT i recommended to bring back the old one. no one likes the Cashier feature.
Interesting. What's your opinion of the Elite Guard? Dont like any one of them! only the Legendary Sky! And Aldarion.
What about the yellow minions? Better than Red ones without them BL Forums and players will f**ked up.

Haha awesome! Alrighty Zuis, what is the story behind your username?! I like a game on PS3 called God of war, And Father of GOF he is Zeus god of gods. on my first account i tried to register with Zeus but it was taken, i've changed it to Zuis. to match it a little bit.
Pure awesomeness! Is there anything you'd like to add?! Will i would like to add about what happened with me on my 1st account "Alexander" 4th L.Don here with 400 OC and more than 10k crimes and 5k GTA around 30 kills. L.Don for 5 months i used over 25k points resetting oc's with oc team we used to be the first 4 L.dons for this round. TheUnderTaker, Rawhide, VpX and me. they all got killed only me left for 5 months waiting the damn invite and every time i reset my vacation timer. why BSF didn't help us. When i got killed the invite fixed. just wanted BSF to know help the players to help you by buying pts from you. Thats it.
