This week I’ve been lurking the states page searching for a gambler. Being a casino owner myself (usually slots) it didn’t take me long before I narrowed down on a possible suspect to interview for this weeks article about gambling on Bootleggers. I’ve been talking to TheZooKeeper about his gambling habbits because this is a name I come across often on states page and sometimes he even visits my casinos and busts them! First I asked him to share his gambling stats and I knew they would be very high, maybe even the highest I have ever seen, but I didn’t expect them to be as high as they are. Just to be clear: Have you won and gambled away 2 billion in Bootleggers currency? I can’t say I have. But TheZooKeeper can say he has and is very proud of it!
TheZooKeeper showed me his stats and two days later I asked him again if I could see them, in these two days he won approximately 27 million on slots but also lost 32 million. So I asked him if he considered himself a big gambler and why slots are his favorite casino to gamble on. His response: “I do consider myself as a fairly big gambler yes but I'm actually trying to stop again as I've run out of funds now lol. I love playing slots because I personally think there's a rhythm to when your going to get a certain formation in the slots and there worth the most as a casino and you can win big on them.” Him talking about a certain formation in slots adds up to my own believes about this, I believe that some days you can keep winning at slots and it’s not unusual to see that every slot owner loses their casino on that day. Next day you’ll notice that it’s a lot more difficult to win at them and the holders make huge profits resulting this. My next question was if he considered himself a rich or a poor gambler, his answer: “You do have weeks where you'll find yourself with a few thousand points and then you can lose it all in a few hours. There are some days I will bust anywhere between 2-12 slots a day then others ill spend loads trying but can't bust a thing all depends weather it's the right day or not to gamble. Yea at this moment in time I would consider myself as poor but I'm sure ill make a comeback at some point”
I believe gambling affected Bootleggers in such a way that you don’t really need to play the game, you can just gamble. Just like there is a jail breaking group at the moment with some of them only here for jail breaking, there are also a lot of people who are only here to gamble their recently profits away. TheZooKeeper’s opinion about this wasn’t quite like mine: “I don't think how the game has changed has had any affect on how I gamble it's just I spent more time on Bl and it's one of them things to do when you can't get on with anything else as such. As a gambler you get to see and know most of the other gamblers out there either by busting there casinos or vise versa and although I think gambling is a bigger thing now than it's been before I don't think it's affected by it that much”
My interview with TheZooKeeper came to an end, and my final question was if he had any advice for future gamblers like himself or that he had anything he would like to change about the current gambling aspects Bootleggers had to offer. His reaction: “The only advice I would have with gambling is it is very addictive and you will either win or lose however big or small the bet you early see a rich gambler these days so my advice would be just not to gamble at all and earn your money other ways. But I personally don't think there needs to be any immediate changes made to the gambling feature but there was the talk of making all the casinos using the cashier this would be good for the holder but not so much for the gambler so I think as it is now is the best way forward”
There you have it folks, just some small talk with one of Bootleggers biggest gamblers at the moment. Gambling is and will always be a huge part of Bootleggers.. If we would to divide Bootleggers in different groups you could say there are Gamblers, Busters, Forum Whores, Killers and Rankers. I include myself to be a gambler and a buster. In what category do you belong? I would like to thank TheZooKeeper for his time and willingness to answer any questions I had in store for him.
