Today, I'm writing the first edition of Suggestion Central, where I give suggestions on how to make this game even more fun. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to Suggestion Central: Tutorials!
Tutorials are essential in every game, online or not. When I first played Bootleggers a few weeks ago, I was as lost as marooned pirate captain. It was simply because of my good fortune that there was a kind-hearted Bootlegger who found me and taught me a few basics of the game. Recently I have been checking the 'new signups' section at the Statistics section at the left sidebar. Guess what I realized. Few of the new signups were online. Even a signup who signed up just ten minutes before I checked was offline.
I put all these facts together and realized that signups were as lost as I when I first joined. Without a tutorial, they did not know what to do, and decided to dump this game. Imagine the number of players Bootleggers may have had if these signups had a quick tutorial and the basics of the game (doing crimes, working out in the gymnasium etc...) So, a tutorial is an essential addition to Bootleggers.
