Five months ago I gave up my position on the Bootleggers Buzz team and decided that since I had died about 4 times that months that I would quit Bootleggers as I hadn’t been able to reach even gangster before being shot and that is just no fun in the slightest. So I took the points I had saved and hid in a corner thinking that I would never come back. However as you can tell I did come back. Once I had logged back in I could straight away notice that something’s had certainly changed. For one thing I was bombarded with achievements filling my screen.
With the glowing updates link I clicked with trepidation and was shocked with how much had been done since I was last here. Uno? What is this sorcery how on earth did someone come up with that? Well I had to take a look and I thought that it was really well done. And even won a game, which always makes a good game great.
After venturing into the off topic forum I thought it was about time to delve into the game forum and noticed a lack of RIP topics, confused my first thought was to wonder whether people weren’t dying or that people just no longer cared. After pondering this for a few minutes I thought “oh well might as well start mission one”, went to click on the Gymnasium but slipped and found the Graveyard finally somewhere to pay our respects without filling the game forum. From the time when I was last on the site crews and people were being shot so regularly that the front page of the game forum you could see nothing else. Well along with that the complaints about and to the moderators and BSF, well nothing changes.
After selling a couple of points I began to search for my first OC in a long while. It took forever to find one but the biggest thing that I was disappointed was that OC scammers hadn’t been weeded out by the community, let alone stupidity. I’m not going to name names, as that is just unfair but I joined the OC expecting a lower percentage but as always I bought a Duesenburg (costing the insane amount of 90k! What on earth happened there?) . I was rewarded with the godly sum of 0% along with the Legendary Godfather and a Godfather. For anyone who has not been scammed like this it can make you extremely angry at them for doing something so annoying but mostly at yourself due to not waiting for percentages to be set. A rookie mistake and I know it. So I decided to check with the others in the OC to see if it had happened to the others which as I have already mentioned it had. However to my surprise alongside the demons on the site which pray on the seemingly weak there are some good guys on the site one me of them sent me a not so small amount of cash. Which I will be putting to good use in the not so distant future so I would keep your eyes open for something.
Another thing which I noticed since I returned was that bar three of the crews all different. The crew to which I belonged is nowhere to be seen to the point that I had heard a rumour that the crew boss was even an underground shooter for a crew which was once our enemy. So it seems that I may have chosen the wrong side during that whole time.
Even though five months ago we all seemed to be going through basically the same thing. Including the talk about resets and underground crews taking over the game but only one thing seems to have eluded me... Where is this blackjack update that we were promised?
