Hello Bootleggers and welcome to the final article about Guess The Whereabouts. It is with great pleasure to inform you that the third and final edition of my competition has been won by Bang. He chose mystery box number 3 and this box was filled with a money amount! The amount was equivalent to $1,111,111 and has been sent to Bang already. I hope everyone enjoyed himself as much as I did by creating it every week and I must admit that I’m a bit sad that we’ve reached the ending. After three editions there are now 27 pieces which I have selected within the pages of Bootleggers. Sometimes they weren’t as easy to find as one expected, for instance: In the second edition of my competition you could’ve only found piece B1 during the 15 minutes when Bootleggers is having its backup made. Another difficult one was piece B3 of last week’s edition, this being a piece of the roulette page. Still, a lot of people submitted the right answers each week and I hereby congratulate those who did but weren’t the first ones to do it. The answers from last edition were as following:
For this week’s final article about Guess The Whereabouts I’ve prepared interviews with the 3 winners to see what their opinion was about the game I came up with. They were all happy to talk to the Buzz so I arranged a sit down for us.
Hey guys, thanks for granting me your spare time so I could ask some of my questions. With the first one being; How long did it take you to find all answers? CommanderShepard: It didn't take too long, I'd found all but one of the answers within 15 minutes, it then took me another 10 to find the last one! Alan89: I struggled this week and was fortunate enough to get a helping hand otherwise I might still be searching for it. Bang: It took me 30 minutes to find everything.
Awesome! So it wasn’t a 5 minute job to you could’ve done while sitting on the toilet. Did you know for sure you'd answered every question correct? CommanderShepard: I was confident in all but one answer. After looking for 3A for what felt like forever, I actually guessed that one and hoped for the best. Alan89: Yes as I double checked before submitting and attention to detail was the key to winning this game. Bang: I knew for a fact that I had them. I got a lot of practice last week lol.
Well I would say you made a pretty awesome guess then! What was the most difficult picture to find? CommanderShepard: The train station one. No idea why because it seems so obvious now looking at it again! Alan89: The roulette table was too hard for me this week as it looked like a machine/ bench and was colored so i required help as it was simply impossible for my tired eyes. Bang: The Roulette picture was extremely sneaky.
I must agree, these were indeed the more difficult ones to find! Have you enjoyed the game as much as I’ve had creating it? CommanderShepard: I definitely enjoyed it. I haven't been on BL for a very long time and the game gave me a good opportunity to see where everything is now and get to grips with features I hadn't seen when I was last here. And again, free money for winning didn't hurt. Alan89: Probably more. I got confused the first week this happened as i didn't really know what to look out for but once I got into my stride I was able to do the back to back , I apologize to all the other participants but these comps are the first thing I attempt on my Monday mornings. I'm a kiwi so it’s Monday when buzz comes out (I know I’m in the future I know what to look out for) Bang: This was a great idea. I enjoyed it very much.
Roflmao so I am interviewing someone who is in the future, wow! Do you three have anything more you would like to share with the Bootleggers community? CommanderShepard: Read and support the Buzz! I used to write for the Buzz 3-4 years ago and a lot of work goes into putting it together, especially considering that it's a voluntary gig for the writers. Alan89: Yes, are there any other kiwis in this game because I feel I'm flying the flag for a nation here! Bang: I love you all.
There you have it folks! I think we can all agree on the fact that Guess The Whereabouts has been a huge success. I enjoyed creating such a competition for the Bootleggers community and will be looking into ways for me to keep entertaining you in the weeks to come. Please rate the articles in the Buzz and I hope you enjoy reading this week’s edition of the Bootleggers Buzz!
Cheers.
