COLUMN: New Update & Strategy ShyGuitar

This week we witnessed a small update of the crew feature; crew bosses are now able to see how many bullets each of their members have. A small update, but it may have a few small consequences. Crew bosses have more information, which is always good. Good for the crew bosses that is, but some players may need to change their strategy. What about the players who were stocking bullets and preparing a shooting? Are those players now exposed? What about players who want to inside a crew? A new small update, but definitely time for a new strategy?

For those who do not know, a short explanation of insiding. Insiding is joining a crew and shoot every crew member until you have the crew spot. Once you have the crew spot you can hard kick the alive members, which makes killing relatively much easier. Now it is possible to see how many bullets each member has, which makes stocking bullets, as an insider, more dangerous than before. When your crew boss sees you with a fancy gun and many bullets, you might have a problem as insider. Time for a new tactic or is this just an extreme thought?

Extreme? Maybe. I believe it depends on the crew boss. Is your crew boss a real control freak and daily checking out everyone his/her amount of bullets? If not, nothing to worry about. Maybe you can even cover it by saying that you are stocking for your crew. If your crew boss believes you; excellent. But what if your crew boss is clever and does not trust you? In that case you have a problem and you need a new strategy; shooting with points. Search your targets and once the private investigator found them, it is time to convert your points in to bullets. A fine tactic, but more expensive than buying bullets from bullet factories. Not really a new tactic, more like a different one.

A new update and a new strategy? Not really. I believe the new update is an awesome for the active crew boss and it makes organising your shooters way easier. It makes insiding a crew a bit harder, but ey; a real mobster does not inside crews. Shoot them like a real mobster; outside the crew and all of them!
