Jailbreak Paradise Wiped! Riverpenguin

This week we witnessed the wipe of our largest crew from the statistics page: Jailbreak Paradise. The Buzz quickly went about searching for the culprits and the familiar names of Asura and The Family cropped up. We look into the reasons behind the attack and also what the future may hold for all those involved.

The attack began on Sunday evening with the death of our former Nation Don terrapin and claimed 61 lives in total. Given the number of high rank accounts that were targeted, this attack would have required a huge sum of resources, demonstrating the power these underground crews still possess. We traced down the killers and found that the attack was conducted by three shooters going by the names of JoseyWales, Sidewind and Raze. JoseyWales is also known as Pannu and has been a long time member of The Family, whilst Sidewind and Raze both belong to Asura.

We managed to contact the latter to find out why such radical measures were deemed necessary. He told us the following: "Two rounds ago I was a bodyguard for ex-JBP member Medea when she was Nation Don. She decided to be a peaceful N.don and not use her huge amount of bullets, so naturally I was distraught when she finally decided to blow her load last week, and in the process kill my broseph prismatic. Seriously though, JBP have been harbouring high ranks for a long time and it is apparently that, after three members going rogue, the management could no longer control their members."

Whilst Medea was kicked and shot by Jailbreak Paradise shortly after her spree, it seems the rash actions of a few former members have cost them dearly. We asked whether they feared an act of revenge from Jailbreak Paradise, and Raze replied, "any respectable crew would want to seek revenge so yes, I expect JBP to attempt to retake a crew spot soon."

Interestingly, when we got in contact with Jailbreak Paradise boss StPatrick, we were informed that no such retaliation would be take place. The typically peaceful crew seems determined not to tarnish their reputation further, but at what cost? We enquired as to the future plans of Jailbreak Paradise and whether they intend to make a return, to which he replied, "we have to create a solid base on which we have to create the crew. We won't rush ourselves into the stats." The sheer magnitude of Jailbreak Paradise prior to the attack poses the question as to whether any crew that size is manageable. We are of the understanding that we can expect to see a return of Jailbreak Paradise, but will their unwillingness to shoot back work in their favour or is it sending out the wrong message? We leave that question for you to decide.

So, an eventful start to a week that I'm sure will have plenty more action to follow. Will we see a new crew step up and fill the hole left behind? What are your thoughts on the wipe of Jailbreak Paradise? Are you pleased to see them go or will you miss the dedicated busting team? Let us know how you feel in the comments section below.
