Wednesday the 7th will be a day that Designated Drinkers will have etched into their memory; because that was the day they were wiped from the statistics by Nation of Domination. We at the Buzz ran through the hail storm of bullets to get you the story!
Unfortunately, before we could get to the bosses of Designated Drinkers they had both died an honourable death in the line of duty. Whilst they were gathering their thoughts and being reincarnated we went in search of the shooters, and luckily we found BlazetheLord ready and willing to answer our questions.
We first wanted to know a little more about Nation of Domination and how they came to be. Blaze answered saying that “We are a close group of friends who came together a while back in order to form a underground crew. As time has passed we have had members leave and others join but nothing much change. We just love to shoot.”
So why did they decide to shoot also: why did they shoot Designated Drinkers? To the first question Blaze directed us to Nation of Domination’s crew page where they had put a message up which read: “We saw all the crew wipes happening recently and we got jealous so decided to join in with the action. Yeah I know, a total waste of points buy hey, it’s fun lol.” About the reasons that Nation of Dominance had to choose Designated Drinkers as its target he said, “Well initially, we was in disagreement as to which crew we would shoot.” This sparked out interest as to which other crews may have possibly been the target, “Communist party are a bunch of shooters like us so they are a no. La Onda are a peaceful crew so that was a no too. Enemy of The State has a crew boss with a big mouth so they were a favourite along with another crew” Blaze said. Which other crew is unknown, as Blaze stated he was unable to remember when asked.
Despite having doubts about which crew to target, Nation of Domination chose to shoot Designated Drinkers because as Blaze put it: “One of us brought up the fact that they harboured a R.Don that we didn’t particularly like. He shot fellow crew member Ownage and if it wasn’t for the 7 day witness statement feature, we would never have found out.” So what happened next? “We did eventually kill him but decided to shoot the whole crew just for laughs.”
We at the Buzz decided to ask about how many points it took which were supposedly a “waste” as the crew profile said. While we did not expect an answer, Blaze replied with, “Well I was given 10k points for bullets and some extra to sell for the searches but I think I only used like 7-8k points. Not particularly sure. I referred to our bullet calculator in order to acquire the desired amount but I couldn’t tell you exactly how much I used. I know I still have some points remaining so I’ll probably just gamble them away on slots”.
We also questioned Blaze on the plans of his crew now that they were on the statistics page. He told us, “Well I’ll go underground with Egg now that he is back and we’ll probably shoot again once it’s our turn but I’m sure there are others in line before me. Some still haven’t shot yet and are desperate to so we’ll just see what happens. It’s back to monitoring accounts again for me.”
We then got in touch with SIMP_2, co-boss of Designated Drinkers. Our first question was whether they had any warnings that they were going to be shot. SIMP_2 said that “There were rumours floating around but nothing concrete.” We also wanted to know what their plans are for the future, “Plans for the Designated Drinkers are to find our Designated Driver for one and secondly get well and truly drunk.” SIMP_2 said “When it’s time to sober up we will figure out where we are and take it from there.”
Finally we asked both if they had anything else they wanted to add. SIMP_2 said that “Drunk or sober we are a force to be reckoned with. We are just more fun drunk. Oh and they owe us a new set of glasses they shot up our old ones.” Whilst Blaze said, “Whoever killed that fag Eren who pretended to be a Nation of Domination member should have left him for us. I mean why would we expose ourselves just to gamble? We are only here to shoot.”
