Each week we at the Buzz will pick a random crew on the statistics page. How random you ask? Quite random, actually. They are picked with the rhyme eeny, meeny, miny, moe, catch a tiger by his toe. That should give you an idea!
When a crew is picked we will have an interview with the current boss about their crew. This week, the crew we picked is known by its Red color and all the booze you can drink. You have guessed it: Around the Corner Bar will be the next crew that we will go behind the scenes.

Let’s get to it. Where does the crew name come from? Well, the original owner was RatFaceRay. He asked me to join his crew and help think of a name. He suggested corner bar. I thought of Bar around the Corner. So we then decided on Around the Corner Bar.
That's pretty neat. When was Around the Corner Bar created? I can’t remember the exact date, but End of May to first week of June of 2013.
A fairly new crew, with being so new to the stats do you feel Around the Corner Bar is a weak or strong crew? I feel like we are a strong crew. We have a lot of active players in the crew with a few high ranks. Most of them are experienced players who have been around for quite some time. We are quite friendly towards others, but at the same time we don't put up with crap. We are always recruiting looking for good members and good friends!
Being a few months old and you have 40+ members that's a great accomplishment. Who are the original founders and their username if known? RatFaceRayv4 and SGisback are the founders.
I can see your still with Around the Corner Bar but RatFaceRay isn't. Did something happen to cause him to leave? Ratty heard a lot of rumors about the crew being wiped because he was in it. So to avoid a crew wipe, Ratty sold the crew to me and he left. Has not come back since then, but asks how we are doing every now and then.
That's totally understandable. How do you run your crew, I wonder about the involvement of the council members when making small or big decisions. All of my council members get an equal say on what is going on. We do a lot of voting and talking to one another until an agreement has been made. With recruitment and visitors we have the whole crew decide. It gets the crew really involved with one another and their input does matter to me. I try to be fair to everyone in my crew. Everyone votes, but either me or my co boss TheLoneWolf has the final say on things. Me and my Co boss agree on everything before anything is actually decided. I courage for everyone to be involved so we can have a productive crew.
I bet that makes everything easier to as well. What is your crews main goal and what are you doing to accomplish this? Eventually we would like to own a BF and have a steady income coming in. With us being a fairly new crew, right now we are in the process of making friends and allies to gain peoples trust in us. Then buy a BF. We want to become the best crew out there even though I know there are other crews wanting the same thing.
Is Around the Corner Bar friendly/allied with any crew? We are friends with a lot of crew and well defended. I rather not list the crews/friends here if that is alright with you.
Perfectly fine. Has your crew ever been in danger of some sort? We have had a couple minor threats here and there about it.
Doesn't every crew at some point. Are there any moments in crew history that you are particularly proud of? Yes we finally learned how to work together as a team. I was quite happy and proud with everyone!
Last question, Do you have anything you would like to share with the Bootleggers community? Yes! Being nice and friendly does get you somewhere in the game. It’s a game, have fun!
