On Tuesday April 4th 2012, crew members of Tactical Anarchy and Order started to be shot by Zombie Campaign, but before the wipe could be completed, Genesis ZC shooter and New Jersey Bullet Factory holder was banned.
Zombie Campaign, a crew already involved in Game Forum controversy soon created a Game Forum topic (”Time to come clean – Genesis) from the account iGenesis, the new account of the banned Genesis. His forum post, that seemed to be written by a player flustered by the whole ordeal, explained how he had become sick of the alleged ‘duping’ that he believed was occurring when TAO were adding more underground accounts to help ensure their crew spot did not drop.
He further explained that the reason he was banned was due to logging into an account that was actually a member of Tactical Anarchy and Order- bitinjaneh. Immediately after realising his error, he logged out, but it was too late. The breach of the Bootleggers Terms of Service was already committed and a ban shortly followed. The Buzz contacted iGenesis to find out exactly what happened.
“Those 10 seconds were the worst moments of my BL career.”
We first pressed for information regarding any insiders and how he managed to obtain a password of an account that was not his own. “I cannot give any information regarding insiders, that may or may not exist”, to me that implies insiders do exist, but on Bootleggers you have to be prepared for either scenario. Regarding the password that he somehow obtained, we asked how this was made possible and who it was that gave him this information, iGenesis replied, “I can’t share information on that for obvious reasons.” He has since been shot and informed the Buzz that he will now be underground.
The next twist in the tale was that eventual control of the crew spot was seized by neither Tactical Anarchy and Order nor Zombie Campaign, but EGHolder with the only player not kicked MaLgaNiS of ZC. The new holder is a crew holding account used by the Mika of the Elite Guard whilst the rule violations are fully investigated and resolved.
We asked Mika why the unusual decision to hold the crew was made rather than to let drop. He said, "We found out straight away that there was something fishy about the takeover. Seeing I did not want to have to go through the process of finding out who owned the crew at what point (and after what payment) I decided to give the crew to a holder. That way, the crew would remain pending the investigation and was ours control as long as was needed."
Game Forum topics followed shortly after calling for a rollback, that the majority, and more importantly the moderators were against.
Kauffman, Boss of Zombie Campaign then posted his own Game Forum topic stating that his Crew and his Bullet Factory, in light of recent events, would both be sold. He also delivered a stern warning that any player that attempted to collect the Bullet Factory would be shot.
MisterLawrence of Gangsters Sanctuary posted the next day in the Game Forum, informing the Bootleggers community that his crew had purchased the Bullet Factory “fair and square”. The Buzz contacted both MisterLawrence and Kauffman, but neither were willing to disclose the price paid for the factory, but when asked if ZC would continue to receive any bullets or funds from the factory, MisterLawrence replied, “it is our BF 100%.”
Hertogjan of Gangsters Sanctuary was the user to pick up the factory when it dropped after the permanent ban of Genesis was finalised by the Elite Guard, but MisterLawrence advised, “GS are good friends with ZC and want to help them out at this difficult time … This should help them pay off the debts to their members.”
At the time of writing, the crew spot is still with the Elite Guard holding account, but you can be sure that you will be informed of any updates in the next issue of the Buzz.
