The 10th Year Anniversary Promotions Cyph4

With a new week comes new changes, and this week, we witnessed a lot of promotions for the State Dons and a new Nation Don. Usually it would take quite a lot of Organized Crimes and various other statistics to achieve such high ranks, but with the 10 year anniversary this was a lot easier to achieve for some. We caught up with the new Nation Don, DevillSpawn, and the latest editions to the State Don family, MaggiePeyton, Shinji, chads, Spiros, SGisback and Bentmetalv5 to get their views and feelings on achieving their ranks.

We caught up with the Illinois State Don, MaggiePeyton, to find out how she felt being a State Don. "It feels great. This is the second time I reached State Don, the last time was three years ago. Finally all my early OC's paid off." MaggiePeyton commented when we began the interview. MaggiePeyton did around 2,800 crimes, 800 cars stolen, 16,000 booze and 242 OC's to achieve her position. On the 10-years anniversary day she even did ten Organized Crimes, The equivalent of 30. When asking why she chose the state of Illinois, she said "Not any particular reason, at the time I woke up there were only 4 states left. All the other State Dons accepted their invite before me. Out of the remaining states Illinois was the best pick. It also hosts the most bust parties and I love to join and crush every one there." Every state and nation Don get to set certain percentages within the game, and MaggiePeyton chose to stay in the middle and set 2% for the Organized Crimes and Federal Bank profit and the full 1% for the Cashier Profit. MaggiePeyton is going to concentrate on school a lot more now she has achieved her goal of becoming a State Don for Illinois but doesn't really have any plans for the future in regards to moving on up even further to try and take that top spot.

Next, we approached SGisback, hoping to get a few answers from her and how she feels holding this position as well. She said she "felt great and never been a State Don before". SGisback couldn't tell us her exact stats when she was made State Don, but it took around 244 Organized Crimes. Choosing the state of Nevada was something she didn't make alone, as a crew boss of Around The Corner Bar, she put the question out to her fellow crew mates who all had a say and chose Nevada. Not wanting to be greedy, she chose 1% and 2% for certain cuts but will be using the money for her crew. SGisback said that she just wanted everyone to make it to the top, so doesn't really have any plans just to all play for the fun of it all.

Bentmetalv5 was another player to make it to that desired State Don position and said he was still in shoch when we caught up to him as he has never made it past Don in 10 years playing Bootleggers. With around 12,000 crimes, just under 9,000 stolen cars, 30,000 booze runs and 212 Organized Crimes, Bentmetalv5 has worked very hard to get to his position. Being the State Don of New Jersey he chose this state because it is the best for Bootlegging. You can buy the cheapest booze, and while you are there for 90 minutes you can go gamble, steal some cars or do crimes. He doesn't have any plans to set high percentages when it comes to his cuts because he wants more people to use New Jersey. Wise move.

It seems the State Dons we actually got interviews from don't actually desire or care for the position of Nation Don, and the majority of State Dons are actually friends of the Nation Don, but when it comes to crew domination will that really matter? Only time will tell.

So, we have heard what it is like to be a State Don from a couple of players, but what about a Nation Don? We were informed that DevillSpawn can be found in a local bar so we headed out, pen and paper in hand in search of him. At the quiet end of the bar sat a man quietly sipping his beer, eyes constantly scanning the room, as if he was waiting for someone. Grabbing 2 beers from the bar we headed over and asked if he could spare a minute or two to answer a couple of questions.

Firstly, let me congratulate you on becoming our latest Nation Don. How does it feel?
Thanks alot. I can start this interview by saying I am happy to be up here again. I made it to Nation Don twice, and to be here for the third time is Simply amazing. Even if it sounds like I am used to it. But still every time you reach any rank you will have these electric chills all over your body. I made this goal long ago, and hey I am blessed to be able to rank again.

So, what were your stats when you reached Nation Don?
Crimes: 16,781, Stolen cars: 9,338, Busts: 11,917, and Organized crimes: 270.

Wow, impressive. Every State and Nation Don get to set a certain percentage within the game profits, care to explain yours?
Well I am Only taking 1% from everything. I think its good to try it, but for sure I am not going to use any player to build myself. I am a hard worker, and I know it's not easy to make money.

Being Nation Don and having other crew mates as State Dons, are you not planning anything special? Surely there must be something in mind?
Well there is a leader for our group. If we felt any harm or anyone going to threaten our crew then we know how to defend it. but for now we are only enjoying the spot.

What do you like the most about the position?
Being the one and the only High Rank in the game always sounds great.

What do you dislike about it?
Viewer's Counters always going up fast fast fast. All eyes are open on you.

Did you ever think of actually reaching this positon for a third time?
Before reaching Legendary Don rank I for sure had doubts, but when you play well and you took your chances good you will reach your goal, and I am blessed with my friends and crew members who help and support me from the Beginning.

How long do you think you're going to be Nation Don?
The two times before I lasted for 30 days each time, so I don't know. I am here and I don't need to think about it.

Finally, is there anything you would like to say to the community?
I want to thank everyone for the help and Support. I want to ask everyone to keep on supporting BootLeggers. It's part of our daily life. Keep on going players. Everyone is good in his or her own way. Thanks for the Interview Cypha.

So, as Bootleggers has welcomes in several new State Dons and a new Nation Don, what will we see next? It's clear that none of the elected State Dons wants to take that top spot, but only time will tell.
