Forum Post of the Week Daltonv7

We at the Buzz also have a couple playing Bootleggers together, you know them as Liliana8 and Rickon_Stark but I know them as Sarah and Chris. And I asked Chris his opinion about playing with his girlfriend on whom he had this to say: “For me it was great having Liliana play as well. It gave us an extra topic to talk about and she loves the game as much as me. At first we were in the same crews but recently, due to a difference of opinions (to be polite), she left and shortly afterwards I did too. Now we are in different Crews and have very different play styles (I don't jump into every RR I see for example) but have a shared forum on the Buzz.

We have a laugh and enjoy ourselves having none of the issues which LouisVirtonDon has had... But I can understand why, if a couple is newer or is less secure (no offence meant) that those kinds of issues can crop up!”

I also spoke with Liliana about it and she had this to say: "To be honest I wouldn't have found BL without him. But I sometimes find as he has a wider network of friends and acquaintances on the game that he sometimes tries to take over my battles and things... For an example recently I had what at first seemed to be a creepy message basically saying "I know who you are, are you scared?" To which I replied "nope." Hoping for a reply of some sort to carry on the conversation, however I didn't. I later told Rickon_Stark and he went of and spoke to the guy and found out that he just knew who Liliana was as he played the same game as me and the other half... I know that this can sound pedantic but I find that it is the only thing that annoys me... well on the game at least.

I think that as long as you have your own people to talk to and your own way of playing the game (as everyone's play style differs) then you should be able to enjoy it more. But it is also a good way to talk to each other when you cannot be bother to speak aloud."

So it seems having your girlfriend or boyfriend with you on this game can also be a good thing! But you have to have your own thing, and not depend on the contacts the other has made throughout his or her career. So don’t let this article scare you off, but look at Chris and Sarah and get those girlfriends and boyfriends playing Bootleggers as well!
