It was Bootleggers most famous crew who started off this weeks shooting. 58 crewless account were massacred and we at the Buzz had a chat with the shooter Miley aka Pannu.
It was The Family who started out this weeks shooting, the first of many we now know. It wasn’t one of the biggest or most impressive action by them, but it was another job well done in their book. Using 842,038 bullets resulting in 58 dead accounts, Pannu aka Miley targeted only crewless accounts, probably looking for enemy shooters or holders of large sums of money. The Buzz had a chance to talk with Miley about some of The Family affairs. We went on and asked him if he had a general statement to go with his killing spree when he told me: “Our objective has always been the same, to play the game. We can't be bothered by the complaining and moaning of irrelevant individuals who attempt to minimize or fractionalize the impact (whether good or bad) we have had on this game. We will continue to operate as we please whilst adhering to the rules of this game and we sincerely hope the Elite Guard does the same.”
I thought about this answer and I replied by saying that jealousy is one of the reasons why so many complain. This combined with the fact that the staff seems to ban The Family members on a regular basis, results in a lot of discontent among the community.
After a few months in the round smart people have collected their wealth from the very beginning and can 'dominate' a round with ease. Combined with the joint force of their members, they make all the things they do, possible. I asked him if this was their strength when he said: “Yes and no. I don't doubt that other groups attempt to do the same or I would hope so anyways, but no other group can match our determination. Everything is done for the betterment of the group, ego's don't get in the way.”
I told him that nowadays it’s hard to find a group of people willing to put their own personal goals and dreams aside to accomplish crew goals, and act for the well-being of the crew. Doing this from the very beginning of a new round, and abiding by your crew’s strict rules results in a powerful force to be reckoned with.
So what are your views on the matter that the power of banking will be reduced dramatically next round? And I have read somewhere that some TF members will end up on the BOS list next round, what is that all about? I couldn't care less about any possible alteration which may or may not come in the next round. The gymnasium feature and the increased bullet amounts for kills were designed to inhibit our ability to once again control the game this round. I'll let you decide whether these additions were effective.
As for a potential BOS placement, I would direct questions at the Elite Guard.
Sadly, the elite guard doesn't discuss bans so I won't get an answer from them. I could imagine it's an unfair decision and I wanted to give you a chance to elaborate on it.
Since several weeks, The Family decided to have a stats crew again and hold several bullet factories. Is there a specific reason why you aren't 100% underground anymore? Isn't it obvious? We've controlled the game for two rounds in a row, do you think anyone (other than us) wants to see this for a third? If features and laughable bans (there have been quite a few) can't stop us, what can? The position of the staff has always been to help those who do not deserve it. We have made our feelings quite clear, this is a mafia game, not a social networking website.
As for your last question, I decline to answer.
It is obvious, but sometimes stating the obvious is required because if some of your group gets banned solely because they have a too strong of a grip on the game, I feel that’s something that should be known. If it’s true, it’s laughable to say at least. I know next to nothing about these bans, but the rumours of exploiting and scripting are there so it's hard to get a clear picture.
Are you planning on "going out with a bang?" since some of you know that they aren't allowed back after this round. Again, I decline to answer.
An interesting answer, as I don’t read a definite ‘no’! Does a manual reset sound appealing to your group? I've said all I felt like sharing. Our interview is over.
The interview had ended as abruptly as it had started but I couldn’t help thinking about everything being said in our interview, but also in the game forum. There are so many rumors going around that general gameplay will be adjusted next round in order to make a group less powerful. Aldarion stated his opinion about the Federal Bank multiple times on the game forum, saying that this option should receive an update as its effect on the round is disastrous after several months in. Reducing its effect and increasing the effects of other in-game options should allow for people to enjoy general gameplay a lot more.
The staff is also looking into ways to increase security on scripting and exploiting. The captcha codes which are currently used on Bootleggers are used on many different websites worldwide. It’s therefore obvious that there is software out there having no problem by-passing these security measures making it possible for someone to rank up an account without putting hardly any effort in.
As for now, it was another decent shooting by The Family and rumors will always be just rumors. Let them prove themselves once again next round, whenever that may be!
