October 15th was the day we were in for a real surprise. At least, it was for some. Three of our very own State Dons and the Nation Don took it upon themselves to wipe no less than six crews! Aaron aka Shinji was responsible for the downfall of The Evil Breed. It was Keisha aka Spiros who picked up her/his gun and wiped The Deadly Knights. The Nation Don DevillSpawN aka Dionysus wiped the friendly bunch known as Around The Corner Bar. The elimination of Haze Blazers was a joint effort of Aaron and Keisha killing 48 people. MaggiePeyton aka Ramon also demonstrated some skills killing 27 crewless accounts using 363,900 bullets. After these crews dropped, Most Wanted still felt it wasn’t enough and wiped two more crews. Get Money Cartel and “For Sale” were both taken down without any difficulty.
When we asked Shinji if he was interested in an interview with the Buzz he replied: “Fire away. No pun intended.”, and so we did!
I think I will start with an obvious question, and then a less obvious. Was this action controlled and funded solely by Most Wanted? Yeah, of course it was. Regardless of who we know, or who we are friends with, this was done and organised by Most Wanted, not by anyone else.
Why did you decide on wiping these four crews? And why haven’t you saved up to do a proper manual reset? 2 of which were high ranked, 1 of those crews kept talking to me about plans to shoot and so on, so we decided not to allow that to happen. TEB shot a MW guy when their little "rogue" guy started shooting people, so we had to avenge that. No specific reason for HB.
Manual reset? I don't think the game's in a position for that, to be honest. We just shot 296 people, and it still isn't enough?
You are right when you say that the game isn't in a position to handle such a manual reset, but yes; Killing 296 people is definitely enough! Let’s talk about those bullet statistics on your profile. 296 kills and 4,868,059 bullets used. An impressive amount so let me ask; how were these bullets purchased? All used our personal bullet factories, some used points and some bought bullets from in-game factories.
Do you know how much money and bullets were dropped by killing the 6 crews? (besides your own funds) We have a rough figure; 700M and 2mil bullets.
That's about the figure I had in mind, thanks for being so open about it. Now, what would you say were (some of) the reasons for killing those 296 accounts? No worries. Well like I said, the reasons are in the first question as to why we chose those first crews. I like to call it preventative maintenance.
I should have asked the question differently, but with the answer: "I like to call it preventative maintenance." you came close to the answer I was looking for. I'm looking for an actual reason for Most Wanted to act now, and why so many deaths? Was it just the right moment for you guys? Being state don yourself, having multiple State Dons and the Nation Don shooting.
Or was it solely because you had some preventative maintenance to do, in order to eliminate future threats? A bit of both really. If I had my way, we would have waited and it would have been bigger. We made some plans and decided to do it sooner rather than later. If we waited and died, we wouldn't have been able to do what we did yesterday, so I think doing it now was the right thing to do. With crews that are high ranked, sitting at State Don etc, they get bored and go rogue. If that happens, we end up getting hurt. This was to stop shit like that happening again.
Understandable obviously, kill or get killed.. I do wonder though, are Most Wanted ties so strong with The Family, Enemy of The State and well.. Penance, that you decided to wipe a crew like Haze Blazers instead? Friendships have or had nothing to do with why crews like HB were shot. Penance is obviously friendly via a member of MW being the Boss of Penance, but that's as far as it goes. ETS, we have no opinion of, MW stays out of the way of other peoples business. Generally, we're not a busy crew, who go around getting involved in things that have nothing to do with us. I find the hate on Stow crap pretty funny though. That's the trend for round 7, and it's lame. Saying that, it hasn't happened for a while. As for The Family, a few of their members are long term friends of mine, that's it. People can think what they like, or assume what they like, I don't really care. What people don't know, is we've actually shot and caught them and vice versa.
That you wouldn't attack Penance is indeed pretty obvious, had to ask it to complete the answer. That you haven't got an opinion about ETS is surely something I haven't heard before, from no-one! (As you say, the hate on stow crap really has been a trend of this round, but since he really went UG, it declined). In 10 years of Bootleggers, I think it's safe to say that many long time players have been friends and enemies before, so it doesn't surprise me that TF hadn't been attacked, but on the other hand, it does.
Don't you see The Family as a threat? Yeah, course I do. To be honest, everyone's a threat. Some more so than others but everyone is still a threat.
Is it not possible that TF's funds are running low, which is the reason they are on stats with a couple of Bullet Factories? Which would make it easy to finish them once and for all.. It's a shame really that hadn't been wiped aswell, makes them feel even more untouchable. We have the same, so does that mean our funds are running low? I think it's the smartest way to operate, but meh - maybe they're bored or the fact that you get away with it. Who knows.
Do you expect vengeance anytime soon? Yeah, not sure when though. I enjoy my easy to bust rank.
If I were you I wouldnt be worried about revenge anytime soon, to be honest. Yes, indeed, Most Wanted has returned to the statistics page. Does this mean recruitment is open and you're going to start rebuilding the shell around the inner core? Let’s hope not. Nah, it's just for the shooters and any random scums that want to take part in our CF scum hunts. Maybe they have no idea what they're signing up for. It's merely a show case. I like the Boss of: part.
Too bad though that you're not working on getting a decent statistics crew together! So what are MW's future plans for the coming month, 2 months, 3 months even? nah, sod that - we never have been. Do as we always do, wait to be provoked.
Does taking revenge for yesterday’s action count as a provocation? Or will you let it slide if my 10 UG shooter kill all state dons/nation don and Penance tonight? Yeah, of course it does. If you have 10 UG shooters then my preventative maintenance obviously hasn't worked.
Oke Aaron, I don’t have any further questions for you. But perhaps you have something you want to say to the community? Only the pure fact that people with the cheating claims need to seriously get a grip and a reality check. Mods approved that I and we, were all clean.
I understand your need to justify your actions, however I feel strongly about the fact: Cheating isn't cheating, as long as you don't get caught. I have no further opinion about that, but I will definitely add your statement. So you assume we cheat, which is how I read that?
Does this mean you assume that everyone thinks you or your group cheats? Did you not see that retarded topic yesterday in the GF?
I hadn't, no. Wasn't around much yesterday. But I have read all of it since our interview. I understand your reaction, no one likes to be called a cheater, but you should realize that it's just people's frustration get the better of them.. And the frustration is towards the funds and the known cheaters, and the knowledge that a lot of exploited/cheated funds are still out there. I apologize if my thinking out loud suggests that I assumed Most Wanted cheats.
It's OK. I just don't understand how a Most Wanted spree like this, can turn into a The Family bitch fight.
After a few days I asked Aaron; do you perhaps have a more suitable statement to go with this answer? To be honest, not really. How I feel atm, I can't be arsed to even let the issue be published. They all assume we exploit or script now, because we did that spree. How fucking lame is that?
You have a right to defend yourself, just as you did in the forums.. and people will choose sides and always will, I'm just giving you the chance to add some of what is said in the forum, in the interview. Yeah I do, but I CBA with them, they're all so dumb and it's just gone past the point of me caring about what n00bs think or say. People wanna listen to someone who doesn't play the game, who doesn't have nay idea what goes on, then so be it. They want to accuse anyone with any sort of resources of being a cheater because they have nothing, the whole idea of that is a joke
After evaluating it seems a sort of a bitter sweet action from Most Wanted. Not that it wasn’t a perfectly planned out shooting and killing nearly 300 people, but the fact that there were so many rumors of cheating and exploiting. The staff has informed the Buzz that the shooter hadn’t cheated nor exploited on their accounts, but many people still wonder if the funds they used are in fact legit and not obtained by cheating.
We will never be sure, but I think it is wrong to call Most Wanted a bunch of cheaters. We can’t be sure so why put such a mark on their action? We all know that this round has yet again been dominated by a handful of people, and with the influence they have on the game, how can one be certain that the hundreds or thousands of points we have ourselves, aren’t gained in a cheating fashion as well?
The system needs a change, and this change will happen during the next reset pause. Only time will tell if history is going to repeat itself.
