So, it was your job to answer the following question: where is the treasure hidden? You ‘‘only’’ needed to figure out the treasure letter. To make the solutions more easier, the treasure letter is also located in this article. Alright, the solutions!
The Treasure Letter:
This letter contains many secrets. Hard to locate, but some are also extremely easy. It is your job to locate all the secrets in this extremely long, weird letter. Success can only be reached if you are able to locate ALL secrets. Hints will be provided in the next Bootleggers Buzz, unless we have a winner. Do keep in mind that you do not need those hints to solve the riddle. Of course, you can solve this riddle without those hints. Where to start? Riserva’s profile, maybe? Obviously, this letter contains many traps. Those traps will make you search at places where you definitely won’t find a thing. Example of such a trap is the ninth sentence of this paragraph. Anyway, enough confusing sentences for now. Good luck with solving this riddle. Unfortunately you are not receiving any help from me. I cannot give you any personal hints, sorry. Damn, already time to for another secret of this paragraph. Escrow.
As a Buzz Writer I love stories. One of the most interesting stories I have ever read, is a text named Terms of Service, also known as the TOS. I find the most interesting chapter of this text the tenth chapter; Indemnity. Chapter 10 contains valuable information, savvy? By the way, did you know that the most common letter in the English alphabet is the letter E? Just sayin’.
Bear in mind that this paragraph is extremely important. Riddles everywhere. I have a specific Buzz Issue in my mind, which was absolutely amazing. Crews were dropped like flies during that week and we witnessed various promotions of State Dons. Kate Upton. Too pretty, I know right. Anyway, I have one very special article in mind, which was published in that specific issue. Make no mistake now, because this article contains the solution of the location of the treasure. Look for the right article and try to lick your right elbow. A long article is useless, but a specific paragraph contains the location of the treasure. Number of Kate Upton you ask? Do not worry, here it is:
Solutions:
The first paragraph contained two important parts. Let’s begin with the first part. Check out the first letter of each sentence. Woah, do you see that?! It is a sentence: T-H-I-S_H-D-O_W-R-O-T-E_A_G-U-I-D-E. Hmm, interesting. I believe I wrote a playing guide. So, what about the second part? Check out the last sentence of the first paragraph; ‘‘Escrow.’’ Does not make any sense, right? Not yet, but continue reading.
The second paragraph also contained two important parts. Oh, it also contained a lot useless information. The first part was ‘‘chapter 10‘‘. Chapter 10 of the TOS? Negative. What about the guide on my profile? Chapter 10… Do you see how that chapter is called? Escrow. Ahhhh, it all makes sense now. The second part of the second paragraph was easier. How many E’s are in chapter 10 of the playing guide on my profile? 119 to be exact. Now, remember that number.
The third paragraph made more sense if you were able to solve the previous paragraphs. As stated in the third paragraph, I had a specific Buzz Issue in mind. Check out issue 119, of round five. 119… You remember that number? Now we are pretty close! A few more hints and we have the solution. Again, check out the first letter of each sentence. Not a sentence this time, but something else: B-R-I-C-K-T-A-M-L-A-N-D (BrickTamland). That is a name of an EX-Buzz Writer! Now, it is time to check out Buzz Issue 119. Look at one of the writers... His name is BrickTamland. For the record, this paragraph had nothing to do with Kate Upton. Still, she’s amazing. Almost there! Let’s continue.
So, what are those bloody numbers? The numbers are the amount of letters. Check out the article ‘‘Welcome Lynx’’. Let’s have a look at the last paragraph of that article. Now let’s have a look at the numbers again. Ey, do you see that? The first sentence of that paragraph is: ‘‘So there we have it.’’ The number sentence is: 2-5-2-4-2. Makes any sense now? I hope it does, really. Anyway, check out those bold and underlined numbers. What do they mean? It is the solution of this contest. Finally! So, where is the treasure hidden? A cursed treasure chest? Into a big monster’s belly? No, the 1,000 points are located in… a nice little package.
I hope you had fun. If not, too bad. Was is too hard? Yes, it was. But it was not impossible! Seriously? Positive, because we have a winner. Who? The one and only Leashed was able to submit the correct answer and is now owner of 1,000 points. Congratulations!
