In my other “How the “mighty” have fallen” article, I examined who cheating and who stood to profit most. But there’s another aspect to the question of cheating. We’re asked to put our faith in the Moderators with no way of checking if they do an acceptable job, how do we actually know what is done, or what isn’t done to combat cheating? How capable are the people who come up with the rules and enforce them?

So, where have all the funds gone? Is it safe to assume that TF and their associates are all dirty? How deeply are registered crews like Penance and Enemy of The State or other crews with at least a minor association involved? How deeply is the mostly UG crew of Most Wanted involved? I think that as the net closes around The Family, so too is will close on their allies and associates.
I personally feel that leaves an ethical question. If they knew these illegitimate funds were being used on a massive scale, why let it continue? Why let people like The Family and their associates do what they do? Why let you, the hard working, honest player, commit themselves to fighting these frauds? Why let you invest your time, effort and possibly even Real Life money while they knew you were doing it to fight of cheats?
But don’t despair, Bootleggers. There’s an upwards motion. Aldarion and the staff have shown a determination in having rules that actually make sense. Righting some of the past’s wrongs.
