A game on an internet site only is so 2011. If you want to earn some really big money with games and have an excellent customer intimacy, you need an ‘‘application’’ (from now on: app). It is almost 2014 and you cannot imagine how many people have a smartphone or tablet these days. These people probably have applications on their device, such as ‘‘WhatsApp’’ and ‘‘Facebook’’. What about game apps on such devices? Games like ‘‘Angrybirds’’ and ‘‘Candycrush’’ are maybe a bit outdated, but I bet a lot people downloaded these apps. Playing these games is easy, as long as you have your smartphone or tablet. For some games you need an internet connection, but I believe that is not a big problem for a lot smartphone users. Now, let’s face the game-play of Bootleggers. Playing Bootleggers on the internet browser of your smartphone is hard, very hard. So, what about an application for Bootleggers? The decision is not as easy as you might think.
Let’s pretend that we introduce a Boot app which is extremely user-friendly. Of course this Boot app has a lot benefits. It is way easier to play Bootleggers at any time you want if you have smartphone. This customer intimacy might result in more activity from players. Maybe it even results to an increase of the current amount of players. A great benefit, right?! What if it escalates? What if this Boot app reaches the top 25 in the app store? Every day we might witness more than 100,000 new players. Can the current Elite Guard and Help Desk Operator Team handle such an amount of new players? We simply cannot. Of course this situation is only realistic if this Boot app is really, really awesome.
What if everyone starts playing from his/her smartphone? Interacting with players who have the same IP-address is not allowed, nor possible at times (i.e. you cannot join an Organized Crime if a player with the same IP-address is also in your Organized Crime). This could result in a drastic decrease of the quality of the game-play. Dupes everywhere?!
We have now discussed some of the possible events of having a successful Boot app. But how does this app look like? Since I am clueless with programs like Photoshop I will describe my view of an excellent Boot app. In my belief the Boot app should start with an overview screen, where you can see your amount of cash, Gun, Protection, etcetera. Now comes the hardest part, what is next? Bootleggers has a lot features. How can you put those features all together in one app? Features like: crimes, auto burglary, gymnasium and booze runs are totally different features, which means you cannot put them together at one ‘‘menu’’. Do all these features need a specific category in the Boot app? It makes the Boot app very complicated, so it is not that easy. What about the casino part and the Forums? It seems that introducing a Boot app is needed, however is it possible? Is Bootleggers too complicated for an app? Time will tell, but I am afraid that if we want an increase of the amount of players, we need a fantastic Boot app.
