Hello Cardonyx. First off, let me take the time to thank you for allowing The Buzz to interview you for this week's Behind The Name. Can you tell the readers about yourself please? Hello Cypha, thanks for the interview! I'm a 19 years old Dutch guy working as a garbage collector (You know, those guys standing on the back of a garbage truck). My hobbies are playing guitar, hang out with friends and/or family and do sports (mainly Korfball).
Garbage collector aye? How long you been doing that? Do you enjoy it or is it just something to pay the bills? Yup garbage collector! I've been doing this for around 6 months now I think! I do enjoy it, though it's not something I would do for the rest of my life. I enjoy doing it because the colleagues are nuts (so am I!) and not a single day is the same! Sometimes I get people that are really pissed off at me, because I forgot to empty their container, though other days people come to me and are really nice and appreciate the work we're doing! It may seem like a horrible job, but keep in mind, if we weren't doing this the whole world would be a mess!
True. After all, someone has to do it. Seeing as you spend all day around garbage, what the weirdest thing you have ever come across that people throw away? My god, that's a lot really. I've seen things starting from a carrot to a dildo, but also televisions and laptops and such. I've seen paintings and family portraits being thrown away. The weirdest and most shocking thing I've seen though was a hobo sleeping in the trash container, as we lifted the container up we heard a scream and we stopped the truck immediately. That was scary.
Good job it was stopped in time then. So, we know a little about your real life, what about your Bootleggers life? What's your biggest achievement? I was one OC away from GF, I guess that's my biggest achievement really. I have been playing BL on and off starting from (I think 2000). I only recently came back to BL, as my cousin asked me to play it again, so kudos to him! Other than that, I don't think I really have big achievements.
So, tell us, where did Cardonyx come from? I got my name from the (Quartz)gemstone Sardonyx, it's a beautiful gemstone that a friend once gave to me! I still have it! I didn't know what I would name my account, saw the Sardonyx and was like, I'll call my account Cardonyx!
If you had BSF2000's job for 24 hours, what would you do differently? Listen to the players more often. I know very little of this mysterious BSF2000, though. As stated before, he should listen to the players more and take more actions against cheaters. Because there are many in this round, and he knows it. I would make polls about game related subjects. If the majority wants a certain things, I would definately consider doing this.
I think BSF2000 listens to the players via the Moderators, seeing as that is what they are there for, to be BSF2000's eyes and ears when he cannot be around. Anyway, ever thought about what you would do if you reached N.Don? I have no clue what I would do if I was N.Don, I guess I would make a crew and make loads of bust parties, as I'm a buster myself! To be honest I would just goof around and help out friends with OC's and such.
What do you like about the bust parties in this round? I think it's just a load of fun, it feels good to see that green bar saying you succeeded with busting someone, and with bust parties it can be very rewarding. You can also make tons of friends with it, so it's just that extra bit of BL that makes BL fun!
So, with the amount of topics which get created daily for a reset, what's your views on a reset? Think the game needs one now? What do you enjoy most about a new round, and what will you do differently, if anything, in the next round? In the current state BL is in, I'd say a reset is indeed needed. I would enjoy the race to the top. I don't think I would do things different in the new round, though. Just think I'll be even more active with crimes and such!
Thanks for that Cardonyx...Now, on to some randomness to the interview. If you were to wake up as a fruit tomorrow, what fruit would you be if you had the choice, and why? Guess I would go for a kiwi, because it's my favourite fruit! They're delicious.
You're playing Candy Crush? You are stuck on level...? I don't play Candy Crush.. I played it before up to level 29, but then it got extremely boring so I just stopped with it!
If you had the choice to become an elephant or a mouse, which one would you choose? That's a hard question. I think either would be fun! Being an elephant blowing nuts to people at the zoo or something, going toot toot! But then again, being a mouse would also be quite fun I think. A lot of ladies are scared of 'em, and if they're wearing a skirt I can look under the skirt. Muwhaha.
What is the most boring profession? I have no clue to be honest.. Probably some telephone company bribing people to buy something off of 'em. I wouldn't do that kind of work.
What's your opinion about the rank 'Pee Wee'? I like the rank Pee Wee! You can barely do anything though, but the name I like!
What's your opinion about Bill Gates? He's a cool person, worked for his money. I've heard he can give every single person on earth (which is 7 billion people!) 1 euro, and still not be broke. If only he would do that!
You feel sorry for accepting this interview? I do not feel sorry for accepting this interview! I find it quite fun I must say! I wouldn't know why I would feel sorry for accepting this anyways. Doesn't do you any harm does it!
Batman or Robin? Uuhmm... I'm ashamed of myself but I never watched any batman movies. I do know both of them, but I know one character in the movies that I find cool, can I choose him instead? It would be the butler! Fancy accent he has.
What's your opinion about the Greece alphabet? I love languages, accents and such so I find the Greece alphabet somehow interesting.

So, there you have it, again another week has gone by, and another victim has been interviewed. I can confirm that no animals were harmed in this interview, however, Cardonyx did get killed and became CardonyxV2. So, the Pee Wee loving, hobo collecting, dutch garbage collector has told us that he wishes Bill Gates to give him 1 euro, not sure what he would actually do with 1 euro, personally I'd like a little more, maybe he could buy more lives with it on Candy Crush and actually get past level 29.
