Buzz Awards?!
Every year the Buzz organizes the Buzz Awards. This is an award you can win by earning the most votes on a specific category. The next two weeks all the players on Bootleggers have the ability to vote on their favourite players. But there is more! As every year, we have some amazing categories. Since the current state of the round is far from perfect, we at the Buzz decided to use less categories than last year. So, here is a list of the 10 different categories of the Buzz Awards 2013:
1. Biggest Forum Whore;
2. Nicest Player;
3. Best Help Desk Operator;
4. Best Moderator;
5. Best Buzz Writer;
6. Best Buster;
7. Most Generous Player;
8. Most Hated Player;
9. Nicest Crew;
10. Bootleggers Superhero.
The Voting!
Last year there were two voting rounds. I think it was a great success, however we at the Buzz decided to go back to one voting round. In order to have represent outcomes, we have set up some rules regarding the voting process:
You have to vote on at least 7 categories.
It is allowed to vote on yourself, however you only may vote on yourself once (one category).
Each player can only vote once for all the 10 categories.
So, that brings us to the most important information; how to vote?! Just like last year, we are using the ‘submit a contest entry’ function at the bottom of the Bootleggers Buzz. Below a small guide of how you should submit your votes:
Step 1. Go to the Bootleggers Buzz (www.bootleggers.us/buzz/index.php)
Step 2. Scroll down till you see:
Step 3. Select ‘contest entry’:
Step 4. Send in your votes by using the following format:

2. Nicest Player: <Name>

Finally...
Every person who voted will be entered into a dice game and the winner of this dice game will win a fancy 200 points. Enjoy the event and good luck with gathering your votes! The winners of the Buzz Awards 2013 will be announced in the next issue of the Bootleggers Buzz!
