The police on Bootleggers is often called annoying. They arrest you while you are extorting the cashier of a random business and they beat you in a pursuit when you are trying to get away with a stolen car. Sometimes the mobsters on Bootleggers can get away and escape from the police, however not everyone is that lucky. If you get caught you are transferred to a guarded prison, where your punishment awaits. Since the mafia is one big family, everyone helps each other. That help includes busting. It is like four prison break seasons, but that with a simple mouse click on ‘Bust out!’.
Usually a mobster busts out a prisoner because he/she is a friend or because it is some sort of hobby. It is a dangerous hobby, because when you are caught you will be prisoned for many seconds. These seconds you are staring at the ceiling, thinking of what to do in your failed Bootleggers life. However, when you succeed you get that thrilling feeling and you might make new friends. Or… you might win some cash. Some mobsters on Bootleggers are often hosting ‘Bust Parties’. A Bust Party is some sort of competition. The first person who busts out a specific person a specific amount of times wins a prize. The amount of the prize differs per host. Sometimes it is small amount per bust, sometimes only a prize for the best buster. There are plenty of categories, however this week we witnessed a very special category. The category: a-Bust-Party-with-a-total-jackpot-of-$550,000,123.
With a total amount of $550,000,000 to be given away, this Bust Party definitely caught the attention of the Buzz Team. The Buzz had a word with the host of the Bust Party, Pattu, also known as Patjuh. This mobster donated all his wealth for a single Bust Party. You could only win some cash if your rank was below Boss. The only proper question we had for him, was; why? Why would you donate all your money in single Bust Party?! We received an answer, an interesting answer.
The day before the Bust Party, Patjuh got shot, together with 200 other accounts. According to Patjuh he was thinking of what to do with his resources. As he finds himself not a gambler, the casino pages were not attractive enough. As you all may know, he is a true buster and decided to host a Bust Party with an astonishing amount of $550,000,000. But why a Bust Party? What makes a Bust Party so special? He stated: ‘‘Normally, it's the social interaction that makes in fun. I have to admit I enjoyed it way more 1.5 year or something ago. This bust party I spend half of the time answering bootmails with people asking what was the plan and when they'd get their money and why the boss accounts got more money than them and blablabla. But most of all I got a lot of people just wanted to talk to me and thanking me and that together with the people talking in the topic makes it fun.’’
The Bust Party was a great success. Every person, below the rank Boss, was rewarded with an amount of $916,000 per bust. At the end of the party, a dice game was held for the remaining money of this huge jackpot. This had game had 11 prizes, differing between 3 and 50 million! As Patjuh has no resources left, this was his last move on Bootleggers for the current round. I think there is no doubt that his retirement party was a success!
