Event Horizon Get Wiped, By Many Enemies... Anonymity

Christmas saw the killing of so many accounts, and the drop of so many crews from the stats. One crew in particular caused a stir, and took sole serious billet counts to wipe, not to mention time.

In a desperate attempt to rid the stats of one of the strongest crews in Bootleggers, SmokeyBear created a post in the Game Forum called Event Horizon Revenge:

Well Sorry to say the shooters lined up for revenge had gotten shot themselves. So.. this is the best I can do. I took out one and the rest is up to you, the BL community if you would like to participate in the wipe of EH. I was only able to take one out thanks to the Christmas wrapped gift. Keep in Mind this crew structure was from 12-25-14. Thanks in advance for the help! Merry Christmas!

So his shooters he had lined up to take out Event Horizon were taken out first, and he became that desperate he offered gold per kill. Now, it would seem that SmokeyBear really disliked Event Horizon, but why? The Buzz caught up with him to find out.

The Buzz: Why did you want Event Horizon gone?
SmokeyBear: Originally I only wanted Milhouse shot for revenge of the shooting of my friends and myself and then when certain members of Event Horizon made a mockery of my Game Forum request and started to personally attack me and I never got a response. I gave them ample time to respond and the shooters were ready to go but I told them to wait because I wanted to give Event Horizon time to discuss their response and there was never a response given. That was when I decided that they needed to be shot and the plan was followed through. I was approached by many people who had been shot by Event Horizon without even knowing why or knowing anyone in Event Horizon. I'm not quite sure that the reason behind my wanting of Event Horizon shot was the same as others reasons for shooting them but I didn't ask and they didn't say.

The Buzz: How do you think your original shooters were found?
SmokeyBear: Honestly I don't know, I didn't know the shooters personally until I had asked in the Game Forum for Event Horizon to speak with me about the shooting of my friends or killing and or kicking the shooter(s). Then I was approached by them and had worked out deals and was waiting for them to fully be ready to go and all of my funds from other resources to come in. During that week or so they had got shot.

The Buzz: How many shooters were involved?
SmokeyBear: Originally two approached me and wanted to shoot, they both had got shot right before they were going to shoot. In the end I honestly don't know how many shot, but I only ever had to pay one shooter. And I of course shot one myself.

The Buzz: How much gold was you offering per kill?
SmokeyBear: There was no set amount offered, just figured I would negotiate with whoever asked.

The Buzz: Why did you feel the need to offer gold?
SmokeyBear: Well gold is something people can use or save for their next account after being shot. You never lose it. I was able to keep my gold after being killed as well.

The Buzz also caught up with Keish, the boss of Most Wanted to find out what happened from their perspective.

The Buzz: Why did you want Event Horizon off the stats?
Keish:It wasn't personal at Event Horizon. All crews were getting shot sooner or later. We shot Event Horizon earlier this round, we was able to wipe them then. So chose to do the same this time, with success.

The Buzz: How many shooters were involved?
Keish: We used three shooters for it. It wasn't Event Horizon alone we aimed for. We also hit their sub crew and a few of TP high ranks with some left over bullets.

The Buzz: Why did it take so long to remove Event Horizon?
Keish: What makes you say/think it took 'so long'.And is that about the wipe itself (process before the crew dropped) or in general killing Event Horizon?

The Buzz: Sorry, should of made my question a bit clearer. The wipe itself, for the crew spot to drop. When SmokeyBear posted in the Game Forum he was offering gold for kills, it appeared to go on for quite some time before Event Horizon were dropped off the stats.
Keish: That had nothing to do with us. A couple more shot at EH to use their bullets, like SmokeyBear. He is NOT MW though nor did we took any gold from him. When we decided to shoot EH we did it after the store got closed so they would lose the ranks and wouldnt get back to don easily. That particular wipe didnt take long. So your question isnt for MW to answer as our wipe went as it should be and didnt take 'so long'.

The Buzz: Do you expect to remain on the stats for long?
Keish: No we don't. Most Wanted is an Underground crew. For now we keep the gang spots filled.

The Buzz: Are you worried about Event Horizon attacking you back in revenge?
Keish: Should we be worried about Event Horizon getting us back as revenge? They had to use TP State Dons to get 'their' revenge done by shooting our shooters. So no, we are not worried.

We also managed to catch up with Tyn from Event Horizon:

The Buzz: Why do you think it took so long for Event Horizon to be wiped?
Tyn: Given ornaments give you an untrained gun, we expected it to take a few days as they had people training their guns, with a few different waves of them.

The Buzz: How many shooters were you aware of?
Tyn: We knew they had a lot of people get to 10,000+ ornaments but we didn't ever have an exact number.

The Buzz: Why were you attacked in the first place?
Tyn: We are always going to be a big target, it's a compliment really, if someone wants to aim to hit us, it means we're a successful crew.

The Buzz: Did you expect to make it to the New Year?
Tyn: No chance we ever expected it.

The Buzz: What are your plans to return to the stats?
Tyn: We never release our future plans.

The Buzz: For anyone who is thinking of keeping you off the stats, what do you want to say to them?
Tyn: We enjoy a competitive game, if people want to attempt us again, we will come back just as strong as we always do.

So, Event Horizon were wiped by a number of sources, Enemy of the State played a big part in it, also with the help of SmokeyBear, but Event Horizon has made it clear that if they go down, they'll be coming back, stronger than before.
