Each crew already has their color selected, why not make it clear, when you go to "Users Online" you could see members of their crews in their own colors. Crew less people could be left as it is.
Introducing Shields
An option where you could use a player as your shield. This way you would be protected,d but the player protecting you would die in case of an attack. This could be used only by crew bosses.
