Final Redemption, the second official Family, WIPED.

So my first week as a reporter for the buzz was going to be an easy one. Write a short article setting up a weekly feature on crews I wanted to do and that was it, job done. Goodnight.
But no. It’s not that simple. On Friday 3rd at about 8:30 GMT I notice something stirring. It starts by two of my crew members (The Innocents) being killed, but oddly kicked before so. I got in contact with both of them asking what happened and also bootmailed the crew boss 14k. Both replied saying they didn’t know what was going on, but one stated that looking at his gravesite he had no crew colours, meaning he was kicked before being killed. I thought this strange as I waited for a reply from 14k. And then it began...
Final Redemption started going down, fast. The main body was taken down and then quite poetically the last to go was its current boss Totenkopf. And that was that. People were talking about it all over the site. The main thought was from Sector Omertà members saying that FR had people from the Alliance War hiding in their crew and didn’t respond to demands of them being kicked as FR were a ‘neutral’ crew.
I'm still surprised that someone thought they could live forever being "neutral" on bl when things are like they are atm, lol.

Not neutral when hosting enemies and denying requests to kick them

It seemed cut and dry. FR said they weren’t part of this 'Alliance War’ but the hid members in their crew from one side, therefore siding with that side. I then made the assumption that SO had the shooters, or maybe it was an UG account on that side of the Alliance. As I sat there watching this unfold my boot mailed popped up with a new message. 14k had replied. He said he will explain all on the crew forum. Explain what? What did he know? We weren’t part of the Alliance War. Were we?
So I waited. Then it happened. The bombshell fell. He changed his profile. Changed the crew. And posted the topic. Now I’m not going to write what the topic said, because even though I am a reporter, I don’t like to use things said in private messages or forums that are only for select eyes. Unless it’s said in a public forum or on record I won't direct quote it. So how do we get to the bottom of this? Interview the man behind this shooting, 14k himself, or should I say Scandalous; the underboss of Death Valley.
At the time this article went to print 14k hadn't had the chance to get back to me so he got the DV boss DasShrooms to do the talking on his behalf.
Hey mate, Scandalous is currently unavailable so I can give you a short answer; however the specific questions should really be answered by him. The shoot was planned relatively quickly considering the amount of people within FR and given that shooters were from many different crews and on different time zones. The Innocents was a crew which was made many months ago to remain as a backup/Underground crew in which we could retaliate in the event that Death Valley was wiped. I would say the shoot was highly successful and went as planned, there were no problems throughout and there were not any fails.
However, to die 5minutes after upgrading to a crew was rather disappointing and actually quite hilarious (Karma at its best). Surely Death Valley now holds the record of dying the fastest once reaching a family spot
I cannot give you specifics on resources spent as it was shared by many different crews, most of which were purchased bullets and unfortunately I cannot say why Final Redemption were shot, however we have all been in contact with Tottenkopf to explain how and why we came to this decision. As to what is next, it is business as usual and we will continue to fight as we have been so far this round.

The whole thing had been planned since the start of TI... Helping UG players rank up safe in a crew full of people (myself include) that thought it was just a normal crew. I’ve spoken to 14k since, personally and off record, we have spoken about the crew, all the little things that happened and the things that should be been tell signs for me that something wasn't right but I just glazed over them as I thought he was just an inexperienced crew boss. Even though he lied to me, stringed me along, and nearly just NEARLY got me involved with a war I am so desperately trying to keep out of; am I annoyed at him? Do I feel betrayed? Do I hate him? No. Cause that’s bootleggers baby.
Even though some questions are still unanswered, hopefully 14k will find the time to answer them, if he does we will be sure to let you all know. So that was that. Done for the night. The 3rd crew to make Family taken out in a matter of 53 minutes. Time for the dust to settle... Or was it.
