Interviews with crews: The Vanguard SpicyD
So this being the first week of this new feature I’m going to start at the top of the crew page (disregarding Elite Guard) and go to The Vanguard. Being a player of Rounds past, I remember their name and wasn’t surprised to see their presence still in the game. In the interview I will ask set question that will be the same for every crew, then a handful of more crew specific question about topical things happening on BL involving them. Enjoy.



Set Questions

Q-Who are the main names in the crew? Like bosses and council members.
A- Crew Boss: Ragabonz
UnderBoss: Zohra
Right Hand Man: Stode
Consigliere: Scarcio
Council: Bruc, Hunter, Klutch, DarrenB, KevinSpacey, Anactoria and Makaveli

Q-How long have you and the other owners/founders of the crew know each other?
A- We go back a long time 8 years something like that.

Q-Have you had any other crews owned and run by the same group of people but under a different name? If so, why the name change?
A- I was the founder of The Deadly Alliance, But TV was my real baby.

Q-What round did you first establish this crew?
A- It was established on the 12th January 2006 by OLH & Aegides, I took control as leader in 2008

Q-Where does your crew name come from?
A- A vanguard is a group of soilders that clear the way for the army.

Q-What's your crew greatest achieve this round or others?
A- Too many to list. This round is becoming first Family.

Q-Are you recruiting?
A- You have to be really special to get a place in TV, at the moment we have around 70 members.

Q-What tips would you give someone who are looking at crews to decide on which one to join?
A- Choose one based upon what you want to get out of the game.

Q-What bits of information or tops would you give to the people out there that want to start their own crew?
A- Get your loyal friends in the council and prepare for hard work.

Q-What's your stance on the alliance war?
A- I have friends in both sides of the alliance and so far we have managed to remain neutral, I do know this won’t last the whole round.


Specific Question

Q-What is the secret to keeping your crew going for as long as it has?
A- Dedication and fun.

Q-It’s looks like all The Vanguard could potentially have all the State Dons, and I don’t think that’s happened before. Should we all be worried about the power that would give The Vanguard, also with having the Nation Don spot too?
A- Depends on who you are

Q-A few days ago your head recruiter and council member KevinSpacey was the boss of a crew called Lions of Zion that was then sold. What was the purpose of that crew going to be? Was it linked with The Vanguard?
A- It was going to be a recruitment crew for new members we will bring it back at some point but we just got an offer to buy that was to good to turn down.

So there you go. A little insight into The vanguard and their current boss Ragabonz. I want to thank him for agreeing to be my first offical interviewee. Next week I sit down with the boss of This Ain’t FarmVille, SenatorQ.

I interviewed Ragabonz and wrote this article on Tuesday 7th July, and just eight hours later The Vanguard shot and wiped the whole of Padrinos Palace using the State Dons I asked about.
