CASINO KINGS DEALT TOUGH HAND TrevorPhilips

Bloodshed continued well into this week, with nationwide casino magnates The Company falling victim to what at first appeared to an internal conflict turned massacre. The Crew, operating illicit gambling rackets nationwide but with a strong base in Las Vegas, found themselves decimated by two assailants who went on to kill twenty-one crew members. This massacre caused issues to also arise for Company controlled, illegal gambling operations, with approximately fifteen gambling rackets affected. The majority of these dropped out of The Company’s control upon the death of the owner, with a small number having ownership hastily transferred as hostilities continued to flare.

A local business owner, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Buzz “It was completely out of control. A couple of Duesenbergs pulled up, and a few of these Armored Cadillacs you always see the wiseguys in, and everyone steps out as normal. Then out of nowhere two of these wiseguys at either end of this group nod to each other, pull out these machine guns and just start mowing their own guys down, in the middle of the street!”

According to evidence gathered by local law enforcement, eighteen of the fatalities took place in a fifteen minute period as members of The Company turned and fought back against their assailants. One other member, a Company Don known as Labus, was killed around ten minutes later after holding out in what witnesses described as a long, drawn out gunfight. The final two, a Don and Godfather known as DonDenden and Harlequin respectively, were slain not far from the scene around ten-to-fifteen minutes later, and around forty minutes after the massacre originally began.

The two assailants, who were masquerading as members of The Company, eventually revealed themselves to be members of The Syndicate; a crew that operates ‘Underground’. Their underground status means that members are usually harder to locate than more visible criminal organisations, and at the time of writing The Buzz was unable to reach a Syndicate member for comment.

When asked for comment on The Company’s response to this attack, and their future plans, Company 'Chairman of the Board' CAPSLOCK issued the following statement to The Buzz:

We have responded to the shooting in a few ways. The first thing we did was create new names. For example, I went form 'shift' to 'CAPSLOCK'. This is probably the biggest change in our play style since the event. We also now have a gang spot instead of a family spot whose name also changed again. We added more M's to our crew name because of all the Millions that we lost in event. Going from family to gang is sad, but it does not mean our sex is no longer incest. We just have a new label. As for our gambling, I cannot discuss this in detail with you because we have a non disclosure agreement at The Company where we cannot discuss our financial gains and loses with outsiders. As for our future plans we have a brilliant idea where we will add to our crew profile something like "We have now become a neutral crew". By doing this we can ensure that no one will ever shoot us and we can just enjoy the game until we have ranked back up enough to shoot again.

At the time of writing, The Company have re-established themselves as a criminal gang and have begun the process of rebuilding their operations. Future developments for The Company, and for the criminal fraternity in general, remain to be seen.
